- Interesting concept, homemade root beer, interesting drinks.
- Absolutely no light, healthy food, no non-smoking section.
“Frosted mug is a very interesting looking place when you drive by. I think everyone is attracted to it. The food however is not that good. Its just plain diner fast food, there's no creativity in the food. It is really inexpensive but I'm sure so is everything else around there. The fact that they make their own root beer is interesting but I really didn't care for it. Its way too "soft" (way more than a&w) for this barq's lover and it has kind of a funky/interesting aftertaste. They also lie when they said they are the last carhop in Illinois and I know they must know because the other on (superdawg) very well knows. Superdawg (Devon & Milwaukee actually in Chicago) has better food and is more accessible because it is in Chicago. Alsip is full of cemeteries. Plus its always pretty bad when you see several obese families walk in only to order gigantic milk shakes.”

- Clean store, friendly people, nice portions.
- Small parking lot .
“Friendly laid back neighborhood restaurant. Great pancakes, buttermilk, potato, buckwheat, chocolate and potato. Try the Strawberry cheese cake, French toast for breakfast. For dinner try the BBQ ribs they are nice and tender.”
