- King Crab on Mondays - Can't beat the price or quality!
- Ask for melted butter instead of the butter/oil mixture they give you for crab.
“I wanted a sloppy, sweet, blender drink from the bar. The waitress suggested their Pina Colada. The drink was just what the doctor ordered & the size was a value at $6.00. We ordered iced tea & it was perfectly brewed. Not warm or bitter, not too strong, & not too weak with ample ice. The garlic rolls come drizzled with a helping of warm, freshly minced garlic cloves, butter, & herbs. The house salad had fresh cold crisp greens (not warm, limp or with that old lettuce stink that even some of the best restaurants can't seem to avoid), cucumbers (crisp, not soggy with the centers fallen out), tomatoes (meaty & fresh tasting, not mealy, bruised or green & hard), hearty red onion (sweet like it should be, not hot like a pepper that burns your tongue as they often are), & my favorite, black olives that tasted like black olives (ripe colossal ones, not sliced, & not tasting like a can or a chemical). I noticed what looked like clarified butter, but it was a mix of butter & oil. I asked instead for some plain melted butter, which has a bit more salt taste (complimenting the crab). The crab was steaming hot (not room temp. or on the verge of downright cold). The shell was rock-hard & fresh (not soggy or rubbery as is the case at some places). The meat alone was delicious. Maybe a dip here or there in the butter or a drop of lemon to switch it up in between bites of delectable naked sweet crab. He said his blackened salmon tasted terrific but was a bit on the mushy side. Possibly over-cooked or a softer-fleshed breed of Salmon. The green beans were at the peak of freshness (not pre-frozen), they were cooked to perfection. Same goes for the carrots & zucchini in the mix. There was a small side of sweet Cole Slaw. Among all the decadent desert choices, the waitress mentioned they had coconut cake which wasnt on the menu. We opted for a slice & 2 forks. Coconut cake is one of my prized favorites. I was looking forward to tasting Chinns version of it. Holy smokes! This is the stuff they must serve in Heaven. Completely tasted as though it was just baked by hand - by someone with a lot of loving! Then the waitress confirmed that in fact a little lady bakes deserts fresh for them daily, right there in the kitchen! It had thick layers of some kind of whipped cream & Heaven, which had a light, refreshing flavor, allowing the flaked coconut to do the talking. This was a cake youd find at one of your better weddings. In fact, the waitress added that, The coconut cake, & any of Chinns other fresh baked deserts can be baked to order for just such an event. P.S. When youre dealing with sloppy butter-fingers, it is a must to have a pile of thick absorbent napkins (which they give you right off, & really theyre more like paper towels which do the trick). Those other re-usable/washable polyester fabric napkins may look great, but only serve to move messy food around, rather than removing it from your digits. As if that all wasnt wonderful enough, at meals end we were treated to oversized, sturdy, hot, moist disposable finger towels, wrapped in sterile plastic sleeves with just a pleasant hint of refreshing citrus (not those foil-packed, cheap & tiny, paper-thin towelettes that barely clean one finger off, & tear at the slightest sign of stress). All-in-all, we left that place fat & happy!”

- Amazing food!
- Decor needs to be updated. Gut the entire restaurant.
“Family owned and operated restaurant with great food in an old fashioned atmosphere. I have been there numerous times and have enjoyed the following: Chicken Vesuvius, Capro bruschetta, Calamari, baked clams, lasagna, minestrone soup, chicken masala, linguine scampi and canolas. Very traditional Northern Italian menu. Don't be fooled by the decor the food will blow you away!”

“Can't say very many good things about the restaurant, but what is that weird tombstone located on the other side of Ogden?”
