• Food and service are superb for those who like country cooking.
• Not here!

“My wife and I make frequent trips to Lake Park and never, never depart without eating at The Farmhouse at least once. If we're around the area a week, we'll eat there at least 3 times - and I always go for the fried chicken - none better anywhere that I'm aware. My wife goes for the fried chicken as well but will also try other meals on occasion. Recommend especially when hungry for fried chicken.”

• Chicken and dumplings were a+ - love the greens and other sides.
• Peach cobbler too sweet and consistency not appealing.

“My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Florida. We were so pleased with the food and the service. In fact our waitress, shelly or sherry was a true delight. Being from the north we have Chicago accents and she had that wonderful, rich Georgia accent. All the food was wonderful but the peach cobbler could use some work. We will definitely stop again.”

• Good Southern style food at a great value.

“Been stopping here on my travels since 1972. Home cooked style southern food. Buffet on Sunday. Prices are good too. This is what Cracker Barrel was trying to copy. Cracker Barrel has franchised, but the Farmhouse is still just a family owned business without any of the overpriced poor quality food you find in tourist traps and franchise restaurants.”
