• Just plain good food.
• Nothing except a little crowed on occasion, but what good place isn't?.

“This place is the best! Home made food. A vegetable place with 10 vegetables, my personal favorite. It has mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, turnip greens, lima beans, fried okra, rutabagas, boiled cabbage, carrots, corn, green beans. served with cornbread. There is also a salad plate with homemade chicken salad, lime congealed salad, carrot raisin salad, pasta salad, rice salad, broccoli salad, deviled egg, sliced tomato and crackers. There are four to five meat choices per day made from scratch served with any combination of vegetables, including pineapple casserole. They also have home soups on occasion!”

• Well, it has a roof and well-lit parking lot.
• Food, service, overall experience disappoint.

“Not recommended. The restaurant (many years ago) was good but now serves generally bland and non-competitive food. Servers don't pay very much attention to the customers and overall you feel disappointed about spending money there instead of other restaurants in LaGrange (especially near I-85). Menu is sufficient and you can eat peanuts (in a bucket on the table) while waiting but nothing special in terms of selection. Location is somewhat far away from the interstate (better options are now available out there). Used to be an enjoyable and tasty place to eat years ago before management and staff changed (and before the silly TVs were installed). Not a real Bar-B-que restaurant anymore. Probably sufficient for the average person who hasn't eaten really good barbeque pork or beef before.”

• The restaurant.
• Will never order anything but chicken next time.

“I had the steak fajita and the meat was so tuff that I couldn't eat it. I told the waitress about it and she said it always is tuff. I have never meat like that before. So I got to order something else but it took a long time to get chicken fettuccini and by the time I got mine everyone else was done and I took most of it to go.”

“Best bib Ive ever had! Its the sauce that makes these ribs a winner. Friendly and prompt service and bright, casual atmosphere. Overall a must stop in la grange.”

• I loved the food as well as the coffee. They also have wireless internet.
• The bathroom is kind of small.

“Starbucks has nothing on this little shop. The food and coffee are at higher grounds than star bucks and, in my own opinion, taste 10 xs better! ”
