- Down, home southern bar, be queen in relaxed, casual atmosphere.
- Hard to find. Call for directions. It is in a good neighborhood.
“I live in the area so I am very familiar with this very casual restaurant. Food is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Inside the restaurant is small, so seating is limited. In nice weather, they also have screened in porch seating. A waitress, cooks and staff are all family, comes to take your order. Go right to the counter to place a take out order. It is very family friendly, although business travelers would enjoy the down home feel of this restaurant as it is what you would hope to expect in the south. So nice that it is not a chain. They are open for lunch on Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 to 2:00. They are open for dinner from 5:00 to 9:00, but only Thursday to Saturday. Location is difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. It is on a side road and is not visible from any main road around it. The food is good and always reminds me of what you might eat if you went to your southern grand parents house for lunch or supper years ago.”

- The food is great.
- Not much on atmosphere.
“Cafe pig is a family run business that has some of the best Barbeque in the country. It is housed in a old home with a limited dining area. The Brunswick stew is wonderful. They also have a backed potato that is stuffed with barbeque and is a lunch time favorite!”
