• BBQ meats, side dishes, awesome flavor.
• Weird decor, kind of tacky, small seating area.

“This place is awesome! The place may not look like much, but it is the best BBQ I have ever had. The side dishes are just as good as the BBQ. Make sure to eat the corn fritters. The collard greens, baked beans, black-eyed peas, fried okra and cheesy squash are also amazing.”

• The entire meal.

“We had dinner on Friday evening the 7th of November and our salad, soft shell crabs and potatoes were awful. We use to visit Crab Trap II in the 80's and it was our favorite. It certainly isn't anymore. You use to have to wait on weekends about an hour. The other night we did wait about 15 minutes but we don't know why as there were lots of empty tables. Our waitress was terrible and we had to ask for our butter twice and had to request refills on our drinks. We were very disappointed.”

• Love the casual nature, kids fit right in.

“Nothing fancy, just good BBQ & tons of sides to choose from. I especially like the fried okra and corn fritters. The corn pudding is also amazing. Bring the kids, and bring cash because no credit cards here, there is an ATM machine inside so you don't have to worry about being short on cash. Atmosphere is ultra-relaxed, decor is borderline kitch but not a problem, the food is AWESOME! These guys can decide not to open on a moments notice so if you're coming from afar, its better to call before you leave. And there is a sign on the front door that says "if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place to be." So come and spend some time, wait outside for your table if you'd like and watch the peacock and rooster wander around the parking lot, and try not to drool as you take in the smell of bbq while waiting on your table.”

• Clam chowder was delicious.
• Shells and bones in food.

“We have been to this restaurant many times before! This visit was different! My fried oysters, a favorite, had shells in them--two large ones at the restaurant, more at home in my foam box. My husband had the grouper. It had bones in the fillet. If this were our first time at this place it would be our. It may be our last. We had to ask for bread. It was then delivered, delicious as usual. It used to be our favorite place to celebrate any event--no more.”
