Primos Deli Cafe
Feb 6, 2009 by
Bethany
from Superior, Colorado
Overall Rating: 7
Food:[6] •
Service:[8] •
Atmosphere:[8]
- Nice outside sitting area.
- Food was only okay.
“This is a nice little sidewalk cafe within walking distance of the Convention Center in Tampa but with marginal food. I ordered the Reuben, which turned out to be some American cheese, sauerkraut, and corned beef on some bread that was then pressed (not grilled or really even heated up completely). I had to eat it with a knife and fork because it was extremely soggy and I couldn't pick it up. The food was cheap, at least. The salads looked really good, too.”

Rusty Pelican Restaurant
Feb 5, 2009 by
Steve
from Tampa
Overall Rating: 8
Food:[8] •
Service:[8] •
Atmosphere:[7]
- Fresh seafood.
- Carpeting.
“Ive eaten here 3-4 times over the past two years and it has been remarkably good and consistent. All dishes are well-prepared and tasty (need to look at specials for added variety). If you are there for sunset, even better. Servers are always attentive without being pesty or pushy. It's not cheap but you will get your money's worth and I would recommend it without hesitation or qualification.”

Leroy Selmon'S Restaurant
Dec 30, 2008 by
Fred
from Seminole
Overall Rating: 8

Service:[8] •
Atmosphere:[9]
- Service and food.
- No lunch menu. Poor value.
“Brought a customer to Sarasota location for lunch. Customer remarked "God, They are pretty proud of their meatloaf" I think it was embarrassed to order it because of the price. Instead he ordered a sandwich. I ordered the Deep heat Fried Chicken with greens. When the plate arric = ved with my 2" x 3" piece of chicken and the greens on the plate he remarked." Is this a gourmet Paris restaurant?" Hadn't seen a serving like that since Auschwitz. Convinced me that Leroy's is not the place to bring customers for lunch. $9.00 for a tiny piece of chicken and some greens? No lunch menu either. Too bad leroy's food is good. Just overpriced. Looks like they will go the route of Bennigans and Steak & Ale. Burn me once.”
