• Food was rotten.

“Lousy food. Got sick when I got home and almost hospitalized from the rotten food. Was told that the owner is sick and not coming back.”

“Donato's is the BEST Italian! We have been going to Donato's for almost 14 years now. The food is always excellent and the service. They treat me like one of the family! I have many favorite dishes but I highly recommend the Chicken Florentine and the Eggplant Parmesan! I also love the atmosphere! The outside-inside theme is great for a romantic date, but also not pretentious so I can bring the kids too! My kids especially like the stop light service that Donato's began recently. Flip the switch from green to red and the closest waitperson stops to answer your request! We have celebrated many special occasions at Donato's both large and small! It is a must if you're local or just visiting! You'll probably see me there!”

• The water was okay.
• Too expensive for pasta, owner was not interested.

“The food was expensive, I am Italian and ziti for a side dish might as well have been called sauce and noodles. That is not ziti where are the cheeses. The owners were not very interested in any opinions. I would not return to this place.”

• The garlic and oil served with the bread (bread dip).
• A little noisy when crowded.

“This is the best Italian I¿ve come across in Florida. It is fantastic! From start to finish, a party of nine had not a hint of a complaint about anything. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. If you want some real Italian like they serve in the new England/ New York area, try this restaurant. If you don't like it, you don't like Italian.”
