- The uniqueness of Cripple Creeks history.
- All the casinos.
“I found Ralf's pretty much by accident. I was visiting in Colorado over Christmas and was lucky enough to take a day trip into Cripple Creek during an uncharacteristically warm break in the weather. I have always liked Bar & Grill restaurants because they are less formal, and the food is often better. The only exception to this rule was that Ralf's was better than my formula usually allows. I know of only one other Bar and Grill that I would hold as equal to Ralf's, and that one is in Riverside California. I would drive to Colorado to visit Ralf's!”

- The staff, the food, the bar, it's not a casino!
- Too far from California.
“I went to high school in Cripple creek in the early 70's before gambling. I was appalled to go back and find almost every building in town was a casino. Disappointment melted into joy when I discovered Ralf's. (In the same block as the old High school!). This pleasant little saloon/restaurant is very much like the bar in Cheers, complete with crusty locals, better than average pizza and superb chicken wings and steak sandwiches and burgers, and very friendly staff. Try to go on Karaoke night, its a hoot!”

- Everything was great for the fell passing through.......
- Not enough Ralf's in this world.....
“Great little place in a neat old gaming town. The proprietor is one nice fell, knows food and spirits. We were sent there by friends (Cummings) from Minnesota and found it to be more then we expected. A must see for the rocky mountain traveler......”
