“My husband and I both went to Casa De Sol and it was disgusting. Mexican, hum I think not. This was so bad we didn't even finish eating, we took a bite and left. We had to stop at the deli in the city market, never going again!”

- The Coke.
- The food was horrible!
“Wow! My wife and I ate at Casa Del Sol on our way through town. The food was beyond bad! It was disgusting! Somewhere along the line, someone told these people they could cook Mexican food but trust me, they can't! The meal came with soup and salad. Nice touch, I thought. The soup was meatball soup. It was a bowl of broth with one small meatball sitting at the bottom. Horrible presentation. The salad was served in a cup saucer sized plate with a pinch of salad on it. Why bother. We hoped that the main dishes would save the evening. My wife had to spit the Enchiladas into her napkin. The Red Chili sauce that they covered it all with, tasted like mud, at least that was my opinion. My wife said that it tasted like the Rodeo.? When I questioned her, she said it tasted, like the Rodeo smells. It was bad! The white mushy stuff inside of the chicken Enchilada was strange. I'm not sure what it was. The Chili Reno was not much better as it had the same sauce on it. The Taco was served so soaked in grease, I had to cut it with my fork to get the meat out as the shell fell apart. The best part of the entire meal was the Coke.”

- The stacked enchiladas were to die for.
- Nothing.
“I think that the other reviewers here should eat at Taco Bell. This is the real thing, and is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant PERIOD! We have been driving the 180 mile round trip monthly to eat there for years. The complex mix of chilies and chili oils in their stacked enchiladas is so addictive - the more you eat, the more you want. Hot, but not overpowering the sweet spiciness. The "lone meatball" soup is divine, and perfect to get the appetite going. Don't forget to end the meal with the heavenly rum cake with ice cream.”

- That mole sauce!
- Sometimes the service is slow.
“This is the best mole I have ever had! The soup and salad that precedes the meal is light and refreshing. The food is consistently good and satisfying. Even though the prices are a little steep, what you get is definitely worth it. Interesting twists on traditional Mexican food with superior flavors.”

- Waitress was cheerful.
- Everything else.
“The food was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. It tasted like micro waved stale school lunch. We had eaten there last year for lunch and it was much better. The soup today was bullion with a lone meatball, a little lettuce with a lone cherry tomato for salad, and a tasteless taco, a dry enchilada (the sauce was dire) and a poor man's Chile relleno baked like an egg dish and cut into a small square. Yet the place was crowded. If in Buena Vista, eat a burger at the ice cream stand. Now that place was really crowded.”
