- It was excellent price and very good food.
- Hard to find location, and restaurant was small.
“I have been going to this restaurant since it opened in the early 80's. I have yet to find better Teriyaki chicken and steak anywhere. The family combination is a good way to go and includes both of those along with Tempura Shrimp. Also you can't beat their prices.”

“Excellent meal, friendly staff, local favorite. Many fresh fish to choose from. Love the Salmon, fried halibut and Creme' Brule.”

Chalios Mexican Restaurant

- Food.
- You might need to brush up on your Spanish.
“Everything that is Mexican food is at Chalios (pronounced 'Chah-Lee-Oh'). As a typical social white dude, I have a fondness for food from south of the border, esp. Good Mole and Carne Asada. These Mexicans do it right and with no compromises, so bring your passport b/c chances are you'll be the only white guy in the place. The service is excellent and they bring fresh chopped onion, cilantro, lime, salsa (red and green) and chips to your table. The tortillas are the size of dinner plates and are hand-made right up front from fresh corn masa. We try to get there at least once a week. My personal favorites include the Mole Negro, Carne Asada tacos, Fajitas, and of course the green Enchiladas. If authenticity is your thing, make sure to order a large Horchata to go w/ it. It's right on Washington, across the street from Jack in the Box.”

- Great food, great prices.
- Reservations for 7 or more. So you might have to wait, but worth it!
“Best seafood in southern CA. You won't find prices like this anywhere else. If they have the Chilean sea bass, give it a try. They also have the best fried shrimp!”

- Every one other than manager was nice, good food.
- Manager forgot to bring old fashioned values along with the old fashioned style food that they claim.
“The food is delicious but unfortunately the manager is pretty rude, when I tried to make reservations she hung up on me three times and told me she didn't have time to talk to me because she had to get the food on the table "for you people" and that while she was wasting time talking to me "the food is burning as we speak".”
