  • The salsa.
  • Poor service and food going downhill.

“This used to be the best Mexican restaurant around. But the last three times I have gone it has gone way downhill. The staff did not listen to you when you order and each of the three times they had the wrong meals prepared for my party and we had to reorder.”

  • Everything.

“This place is absolutely horrific. Terrible food. Unprofessional staff. Severe lack of cleanliness. The wait staff was rude when asked questions. Overall terrible, terrible place to even walk into. That was the last time I walked into that place.”

  • Service and food excellent.

“May 24, 2008 we had our daughters wedding reception at Spike-N-Rail. We had at least 250 people and not one person had a complaint. The food and service we received from the manager and her staff was five stars. I would highly recommend any event there. My daughter had the Cinderella wedding and reception. The hotel was great too! Everyone had such a wonderful evening, one night we'll forever cherish. Thanks again to the staff at Spike-N-Rail. Oh yes, I can't forget the train rides that our guests and kids had - everyone loved it!”

  • I love everything about it.
  • Wish I could mail-order their food. .

“I absolutely love to eat there. It has a wonderful family feel to it. I wish I still lived close by so that I could eat there. We do not have restaurants as good as this in Kentucky. I lived in Selma for 27 years and can remember eating there even as a little girl. I love it.”
