• Great food, good price, and friendly staff!
• The bathrooms are not the greatest.

“I love city diner! The food is great home-cooked style food. The portions are large; I don't believe I've ever left there hungry. If you are looking for fancy, this is definitely not for you - it is after all a diner. However, if you are looking for tasty food for a good price, this is the place! The staff is great, always friendly. You can get a free WiFi hookup in the diner, too. The only reason I gave the place a nine instead of a ten is that the bathrooms leave a bit to be desired.”

• Good food, friendly service with a big smile 10/10.
• Area a bit seedy after dark.

“We stopped at Howard Johnson across the road & saw the city diner. It appealed because it looked just like the diners from the 50's era, bright red seats with an uncanny retro look. The food was very good & the service was friendly & with a smile. We would certainly eat there again but would recommend that you either go in a big group after dark, or eat during daylight hours as the local area takes on a new dimension at twilight! That said, don't let this put you off eating there, as I said, we would eat there again & we are very fussy eaters. This diner is certainly worth the top marks. .”

• The toilet flushed on the third try.
• The food was unfit to be flushed.

“I would not feed this 'food' to maggots. The place was filthy and the food was inedible...”
