Spaghettini Italian Grill

- Great atmosphere, music and service.
“Ambiance was very good. The jazz was great but you have to arrive very early to get a seat. It gets very crowded in the bar/dining area next to the stage. The food was very so for Italian food especially considering the price. Dinner (an appetizer, two glasses of wine, two entrees and one dessert) after tax and tip was around $150. My wife and I were very unimpressed by the food. However the service was good. The waiter was very professional. Overall, this restaurant is a place to go to for the music order finger foods/pizza, wine but it is not really a serious diner's restaurant.”

- I get all that I need.
- A little dark.
“I had a great time at this restaurant with my friends and family. I got water when I when I needed it and a new fork when my kid dropped hers, and even got a baby seat when I asked for it. The food was really good, not treat, but you get what you pay for. Place is average in cost. I'd go again.”

- Pretty much everything.
- Tough to get into need to make reservations or sit in the bar.
“We have traveled to Southern California three years in a row for Thanksgiving. I had eaten at Mahe previously on a business trip and new we needed to return. We had a last minute party of seven with two little children that they were able to seat in a back room. The drinks were cold and good, the food was wonderful, the staff was great and our kids had a ball. Last year we returned again with only three from our party we even rented a car so we could get there. It was as good as we remembered if not better. Great sushi, great wine, excellent staff. So, this year we've made our reservation and will return with the full crew of seven. Everyone requested.”

Finbars Italian Kitchen

- Great homemade sauces and pastas.
- Some tables lack any ambience at all.
“Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Fin bars have consistently good food, fairly priced. New York Italian with great sauces and pastas. Best kept secret? They have some of the best steaks in town. If you don't see something on the menu, ask. The kitchen is great at special orders. The daily specials are always good bet. This is our go to restaurant for out of toners who want good food in a comfortable setting. The staff is young but attentive. Small bar with good wines by the glass. Full cocktail service. Everything can be prepared to go, too.”

- Sushi, temporal and other cooked dishes, pleasant service, lots of parking.
- I do not live in Seal Beach.
“I keep finding others all over Southern California who travel to Seal Beach for the best sushi and Japanese food all of us have found in Southern California! There are sushi restaurants closer to my home that are OK and that I go to a lot, but when I really want the best, I go to Koi in Seal Beach. The fish is always fresh. The chefs at the sushi bar are really helpful in finding new delights. When we sit at a table, the regular menu items are outstanding. Our favorite is to get a "boat" of the right size for our party and a couple of rolls and appetizers plus some plum wine or beer. I have taken several people who were sure they would not like sushi, and they always leave ready to go back for more. I have tried most of the menu and not found any item that was not the best I have had anywhere in Southern California.”
