• Excellent burgers, fish & chicken salads. A must try!
• Always so busy, you have to wait in line, but definitely worth it!

“George's is truly a san Marcos landmark. My parents took me to George¿s as a child, and it was always a treat. Now that I have my own family I do the same every time I go back to visit. All special occasions were enjoyed with George¿s burgers, homemade onion rings, and fries. If you're feeling like something healthy their Greek chicken salads are out of this world. They have great food with great prices, and the atmosphere is always friendly.”

• Food and drink.
• Crappy service. What happened?

“We have been frequenting this brewery/restaurant since it opened (10+ years ago?) And have always enjoyed it. They have consistently had good food, great beer, and great to adequate service until tonight. The beer and food were very good (as usual) but they were extremely understaffed and disorganized. We waited up front for nearly ten minutes for a host/hostess to seat us (our party had a reservation), and a half hour till our first beer arrived. Then screw ups on the food orders. Is there new management/ownership? I hope they get a handle on the situation.”

• The fresh food and friendly staff.
• Maybe a little wait.

“The sushi bar is the only place to eat sushi! The chef's make the greatest exotic plates and you don't even have to order, the food just keeps on coming. Everyone is extremely friendly and the people you meet at the bar just add to the experience. If you are on the adventurous side and like to try live food or just want to order your everyday hand roll this is the place for you.”

• Good peanuts.
• Expensive and dishonest waitresses.

“Beware of this place. The food is overpriced and the service is terrible. In addition the waitress ripped us off on our bill, tripling the size of the trip - for crappy service!!!”
