Executive Cuisine

Overall Rating: 1

Atmosphere:[1]
- Family run.
- Dirty, low quality catering.
“Skip this catering company. Food is low quality and the "chef" has no culinary training whatsoever. Besides that, the cleanliness of their food preparation is substandard. They even show their kids licking the cooking utensils on their website! Yuck!”

- Pizza ok. Sandwiches great.
- Not great.
“Pizza is ok. Not like true NY pizza but ok. But the sandwiches are really good. Not a place to hang out and eat but to go food should be on your list of things to eat.”

- The Tacos la Julia were pretty good.
- It's hard to find something that tastes good, you really has to search.
“The food is okay but not great. The location is perfect if you like going to old town. Being seated outside is much better then being inside. I could pass on the food. It's ok if you like Americanized Mexican food.”

Acqua Al 2
Apr 20, 2008 by

Overall Rating: 5

- The waitress was gracious and attentive but lacked knowledge about the wines.
- Food, atmosphere.
“I took my husband to Acqua Al 2 for his birthday, April 2008, based on the review in the Dining out SD magazine. We have traveled in Italy and especially in Florence so we were excited about the fact that this restaurant had a location in Florence. Well our experience was not what we expected. We were seated so close to a party of 4 that their conversation dominated ours. I can tell you all about their last ski vacation. We ordered the pasta special, fettucine in a white wine saffron sauce with mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari. It came to the table lukewarm. We asked that our plates be returned. The waitstaff was gracious but the food returned no hotter than before. The portion was moderate with just a sprinkling of seafood. I wouldn't have minded if I had paid $14 or $15 for this dish, but it was priced at $30. So we had mediocore pasta and a bottle of wine for $106. Not a good value and a far cry from any meal we have had in Florence, Italy. This meal will be memorable but not in a positive way. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.”
