• Good atmosphere.
• Cooks.

“I went in to get a pita burger I asked that it be served medium well. When I got it it was saturated in grease dripping all over the place, so bad the pita bread was soggy. The cooks seemed to be smiling about it. The meat was served well. I will not eat here again.”

• Location and we had a coupon.
• Dirty. Staff out of control.

“I can only hope that the owner/manager was gone when we ate there yesterday. Nothing else could explain our poor impression, and I've been there for breakfast other times and it was fine. But we were left sitting, waiting for service and then a waitress finally came and a man followed her to apologize. Not a big deal. Then the ant crawled across the table. Then we looked around and the floor was filthy. A table knife laid on the carpet near us. The staff just avoided it and walked around it. Made us wonder about the food. In general, the staff looked out of control and not interested in the customers. Too bad.”

• Great comfort food, fast and friendly service, good prices.
• It's so popular I sometimes feel rushed.

“Chicken Pie Diner is a great comfort food restaurant. Their pot pies and blue plate lunches are yummy and the service is fast and friendly. The 50s decor is fascinating and the chrome dining tables are very 50s and the booths are real comfortable.”
