Los Hermanos
May 19, 2009 by chad from redding
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Fast customer service, I'll be coming more often.
  • More happy hour, days.

“This restaurant has the best service and is friendly to all. Los Hermanos seems to always have good prices and also more than enough food for the price. While it may not be the fastest compared to a fast food restaurant quality takes time, real food takes time!”

Los Hermanos
May 19, 2009 by Evie from Pollock Pines
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9
Food:[10] • Service:[9] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Terrific, good-size meals!
  • Could use more parking spaces.

“I believe that Los Hermanos is a terrific place to just sit back, relax, and enjoy a hearty and satisfying meal with the accompanment of good friends, family, or co-workers. I even ate there alone one time during a late lunch hour from work, (sort of close by.) I enjoyed just sitting at the booth with a book in my hand and a bowl of Tortilla soup (my favorite!) in front of me. From my experience, it is more relaxing to eat there when it is not so crowded, but it's interesting to see when it is crowded! Of course, when it's busy be willing to wait patiently if you can for a waiter/waitress to attend to you (though, is that not normal at a good restaurant). I figure as long as the food is great (and it always is). Enjoy it for the relaxing and romantic get-away spot it's meant to be. I honestly can't say much about the bar section though simply because I don't head toward that direction much. I will say that I sure do wish I had a jukebox like theirs! And from what some others have told me, the bands that play are good too (according to their musical taste I suppose, I haven't been there to see that yet.) The restroom appears clean enough when I'm there. Overall, Los Hermanos (in my opinion) is the restaurant to check out and truly enjoy when your not in a hurry!”

Los Hermanos
Mar 29, 2009 by Stephanie from Pollock Pines
Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4
Food:[5] • Service:[2] • Atmosphere:[6]

  • Vegetarian burrito.
  • The rude wait staff.

“I have been going to Los Hermanos for more than 10 years, and it is sad to say that what used to be a great place to eat with friendly wait staff, has really deteriorated severely If they can get your order right, I highly recommend the vegetarian burrito. It's pretty hard to screw up that. The wait staff seriously need a course in customer service. Several times I have walked into the restaurant, been looked directly into my eyes by the host and flat out ignored. These people that work there are young, snotty little brats that are managed by an idiot. The only person that I give kudos to, would be the bartender. I refuse to eat in a place where the wait staff has an attitude problem.”

Fifty Grand Restaurant
Mar 2, 2009 by Marvin from Sacramento
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[9] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[7]

  • Great value, excellent quality.
  • The place is somewhat run down.

“We had the prime rib. It was done just right and the meat was tender and not fatty at all. The sides were excellent as was the homemade chowder. The homemade desserts are worth saving your appetite for. We had the molten chocolate lave cake. Very rich. I heard the bread pudding is excellent, we will need to try it next time.”

Taco Bell
Oct 3, 2008 by Mike
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Large selection of items not sold else where. Customer service.
  • Not being able to eat there more often.

“If I ever travel through this town again I know exactly were I am eating. The hospitality at this place makes the atmosphere feel like an up scale restaurant. I have been to my share of Taco Bells in mine life and none compare to this one. Besides the great customer service this place serves many items that you cannot get anywhere else. Such as the California Chicken quesadilla, the cheesy Beefy Melt and cheese quesadilla and the list goes on. In my opinion some of the older items were best. In conclusion 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, great.”
