• Greek salad was excellent. Food arrived quickly.
• No beef/pork souvlaki sandwich on the menu - all chicken.

“Good (but not great) Greek food in a Mom and Pop atmosphere. Prices are very good. Greek salad was excellent. Mousaka beef was tough (strange for ground beef!), but flavor was good. Soulvaki sandwich with rotisserie chicken was very tasty, but really wanted beef/pork soulvaki and they did not have it available on the lunch menu. Service was so-so. Food came quickly, but if you wanted anything else you had to wait for a while. Never got a check and had to go up to the register to get one.”

• The air in the restaurant is light on Ozone pollution.

“I worked there, I've seen a whole tray of marinated salmon dropped on the floor, only to be rinsed and thrown back in the fridge, that was the GM's call. I've seen cooks, smell fish, only to rinse it off till it smelled better and cooked. I've seen the new owner step on a rat right in front of the saute station, yes they have a rodent problem. The bar smells like a litter box. My girlfriend was the bartender, until she got tired of stepping on rat traps in the bar. The management is horrible. I've seen a lot of food get comped in the year I worked there, so if you go in and complain enough, you will get a free meal, yes they do give it away. I know Staubs used to be fine seafood, but has since fallen from grace. I cant speak for the Colonial location but steer clear of Altamonte.”

• Nice family, very friendly.
• Poor quality, poor taste.

“Family owned and they are nice enough people, but the food is not up to par. Stray cats and chickens run around all over outside restaurant, which scares me.”

• Watching the cook right in front of you.
• Skimpy portions.

“The portion sizes have gone way down and the prices have gone up. When I first started going there I had enough to take home and eat the following day. Now, you can eat the entire meal. The food tastes great don't get me wrong, but rice and noodles aren't costly to make so why be skimpy. So now you don't really get your monies worth. So sad.”
