- Great price, great sausage, what more do you want?
- I wasn't sure if the woman at the registered didn't like me, or if she was reserved by nature. She wasn't exactly friendly, but she was polite and did crack a smile and made the effort. Maybe I'm just sensitive.
“If you like a good sausage on a roll, then this is the place for you. I recommend getting just fried onions on the sandwich, but there are a number of toppings you can choose. It is not an Italian sausage (and I can only thank God for that blessing). I think they may actually serve other types of road house foods like burgers, but I only have eyes for the sausage. I even got a "This IS good sausage!" comment from my dubious Mother on the pound I brought home. The price of a sandwich can't be beat and they don't skimp on the meat. This is definitely a real roadhouse diner, nothing pretentious here. Seating is hard benches, and only 4 of those. There is limited counter space (6-8 people), and the isle to the order counter is just wide enough to allow a person going to the counter to walk past someone leaving. If your an Elvis fan, you will enjoy the seating area, as the owner is obviously one too. All in all, this is one of my favorite road side places to stop and eat. ”
