Meigas

Atmosphere:[1]
- Tapas not bad, staff speak Spanish.
- Ugly location, mediocre food.
“Must be a new and less talented chef since the 2003/2004 reviews of this dump in the basement of a commercial building in dismal downtown Norwalk. Next to a formica-clad Greek diner, this is the least romantic restaurant I have ever eaten in. Weekend I was there, April 12th 2008, a small, sad wedding was taking place in their hideous private party space next to the men's room. Frizzy-haired floozy with menopot and munchkin legs marrying a deer-caught-in-the-headlights geezer. Guess no other place would have them. The main room could hear everything going on in the private room. So much for privacy. If you care, never think of having an event in this mediocre Seville-inspired Cesspool. Bar is substandard. Limited selection. Barkeep can't make a decent cocktail. Even the Sangria was lackluster. Food is competent but not memorable. It's only two weeks later and I don't even recall what I ate! Service is ok, nothing special.”
