• Atmosphere.
• Closed too early for me.

“In town for only a couple of days. Tomato's bar proved to be a great evening in a way only serendipity can provide. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the bar staff cordial, conversational, and efficient. Bar's norm at the hotel provided a great conversation all night long. I ended up sitting with them until the lights came up, and I plan to visit again.”

• The staff & amazing cold slaw.
• Fried was really fried.

“We asked at our hotel for a family-friendly sea food place, and the Chowder Pot fits this description perfectly! The wait staff was so friendly and we were extremely happy that we decided to eat at the Chowder Pot.”

“The food is excellent from sushi to hot pots but unfortunately the service does not match. On our last visit we only saw our waitress when our order was taken and our food was brought. Glasses were never refilled and our check was never brought to our table.”

• Excellent spicy chicken-fans form lines like the "soup Nazi".
• Cafeteria atmosphere.

“This is a restaurant located in a "mall" type atmosphere. It's only open for lunches and the people in the surrounding office building know how good it is because there's usually a line of 10-25 people waiting. The line moves very quickly however and you are seated in cafeteria style seating. Excellent value-excellent food-which cares about the atmosphere-get it to go :).”

“I live in Bridgeport, CT, but when I go to Franklin Ave, I make sure I eat at Carbones. The staff is very attentive, and I have never had a bad meal.”
