• Ambiance was decent.
• Food tasteless and hairy- not what the menu described.

“The food was not what the menu describes. A sandwich that had grilled chicken on it came out with cold cut chicken instead. Everyone at a table of 5 orders different and everyone thought their food was mediocre at best. There was hair in everything they served us from the fried calamari to the salad and pasta. When I informed the manager of this he was not apologetic and just stated really. Seamed to me that the ambience was nice, service mediocre, and the food cheap and tasteless.”

• Excellent upscale Italian pastas, meat, and fish.
• Service is a bit slow.

“An excellent Italian restaurant with upscale food, very solid for the price. Tasty pastas, sauces, meat and fish. Also very nice pizza and has a busy takeout window. A landmark restaurant in Darien catering to generations of families. Service is a bit slow and the atmosphere is okay. But very nice overall.”

• Best pizza and pizza crust I¿ve ever tasted!
• I live too far away from Darien or Clearwater to still eat there!

“I haven't lived in Darien for years, but still remember the remarkable "pizza" served at post corner pizza. It is so good it is almost worth driving back to Darien or to Clearwater just to taste it again. I don't know how they get the crust so delicious. Crispy, yet soft, with the most flavor of any pizza crust I¿ve ever tasted. It is almost shameful to call their concoction "pizza" as it far surpasses any other pizza I¿ve ever tasted, anywhere! Fabulous meal!”

• The deserts are wonderful and the drinks too.
• Sometimes the people rush you.

“The food is very good, but they do rush you if they start to get crowded, the people could be a little more friendly. other than that it is a good place to eat and fun for kids too.”

• The food is good and so are the drinks.
• The servers could be a bit nicer; they try to rush you a bit.

“Great food and fun atmosphere. The scorpion bowl is highly recommended, although they will cut you off if you start to get loud. Great pave to bring kids.”
