- Location.
- Everything else.
“Weak excuse for an upscale restaurant - upscale prices - yes, however, the service and food quality are mediocre at best. The wait staff seemed to be new and inexperienced. This restaurant is living off of its previous fame and reputation, stay home and cook, the experience will be better!”

- Great margaritas, made with fresh lime juice!
- Parking could be a bear.
“Agree more south west then Mexican although they do have some of that fare as well. We really liked this restaurant We did not have reservation and could not be seated until 8:20 ”

- Frozen Margarita's and Pecan Crusted Elk
- Parking
“It is more southwestern cusine than just a "Mexican Resturant". This is a place you need reservation far in advance of your trip to Steamboat. Highly recommend call ahead before getting to Steamboat if coming during peak ski and summer tourist seasons. The wait staff and bartenders are great. You can order standard Mexican dishes. But I recommend strongly the Pecan crusted Elk. It is to die for. Also best and I mean BEST Frozen Margarita's in the area. Parking is a big problem in the area (Ski Area Basin).”

“This was truly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!!! I have traveled the world and never have been so disrespected. The waitress was extremely rude, acted like we were bothering her when asked questions about the menu. We even asked her if she was having a busy night and she said something about broken glasses at the bar and then proceeded to take it out on our table for the rest of the evening. I don't mind waiting for a meal but an hour and half is way to long to have to wait and not once did the waitress come by to explain the reason for the wait. The food was pretty good when it finally arrived but instead of enjoying this meal with our friends, we all just wanted to eat and get out at this point. The real kicker was when the check came. a 18% gratuity was added. We complained to the manager but all we got were excuses and never an apology. If you want a great meal with a wonderful wait staff than I suggest going to Cottenwood, the best meal and great service!! Stay away from Harwig's if you don't want your vacation ruined!”
