  • Tasty and tasteful.
  • Bread was over warmed in the oven.

“A dining experience that my husband and I enjoyed like no other since our travels to France's Alsace region in 1981. La Chaumiere transports you to another place upon entry to its charming dining room. We were welcomed warmly by the proprietress, Edith Williams, and guided to a window table looking out on the mountains surrounding the Pine wood Springs valley. The restaurant offers classic French cuisine -- rich flavors, meat-based entries, fresh ingredients. La Chaucer's menu offers appealing choices. The wine list is excellent. Food presentation is exceptional and the portions just right. Proprietor and chef, Vince Williams, creates wonderful dishes that are a step above the fare that we've sampled in the Estes Park region. ”
