- Mostly nice staff. Good food at time. Beautiful bridge and creek by restaurant.
- Rude waitress. Bad food at times. Bad service.
“The first time that I dined at the Front Porch, I thought the food was good. The salad bar was wonderful with a variety of toppings, such as ham, cheese, tomatoes, etc. The steak was okay, but I never met a steak I didn't like. However, it suddenly changed. The salad bar is not what it once was. There has been little toppings in which to choose, but the buffet is still okay. The staff is iffy. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, there is a wonderful, sweet hostess that will take complete care of you. Any other night, beware. One waitress is completely offensive. She will play you for a fool, telling you that it is taking awhile with your food, when in fact, you may not get it at all! She is also rude. Her tip definitely reflected the attitude!”

- The setting is wonderful. The back room overlooks a nice stream with a pleasant waterfall.
- You can count on the buffet being cold, bland, and boring.
“The buffet is generally cold, basic selection, cheap food badly cooked. The wait staff can have an up yours attitude at times. I have eaten here many times and just look at it as food, I am hungry the chicken and a salad will do. What more can I say.”

- Food and people.
- The roof - outside of the restaurant could use a facelift.
“I have eaten at the Hilltop several times while I was in Yellville. There aren't many places to eat in town, but the Hilltop is by far the best! They have fairly fast and extremely friendly service. In fact I have even seen the same person from visit to visit even though were years in between! Try the ribs and if your there for breakfast - best biscuits and gravy around!”
