• Food, ambience, service.
• Nothing negative. .

“The food is the exact opposite: it is delicious and creative! I have been to postino several times for special occasions and have never been disappointed with their ever changing menu. The atmosphere is romantic and the restaurant has a lovely ambience. I consider this restaurant to be one of the best in the east bay. It is expensive, but it is worth the money if you are looking for a wonderful and memorable meal as well as a night away from the same old home cooked meals. I would not recommend this restaurant to families with small children as it is not very 'kid friendly,' but it is perfect for couples or for a night out with friends. I recommend making a reservation and perhaps that is why the previous reviewer had to wait for a table (it's so popular that if you do not have a reservation you will have to wait!). I have lived in the east bay my entire life and I always recommend this restaurant to people who are from out of town. .”

• The actual bar counter is gorgeous, take a close look!
• Not somewhere to get quiet and cozy by the fire.

“Excellent cheese dip, the atmosphere has really got a lot of personality. Great family friendly place and excellent food if you are in the mood for some rich, cheesy, beans and tortillas!”

• That cheesy dip- can't get it anywhere else!
• Often there are too many kids running around.

• Quaint setting.
• Greasy, tasteless food.

“The best thing about Postino is its location and quaint atmosphere. That said, the food is greasy and unpalatable. You can expect a wait, both to be seated, to receive menus, and to receive your food. I will not be back.”
