- Tasty affordable food. Friendly folks.
- May have to park a block away and walk. Sometimes.
“A local hang out, attracting the middle class upwards. Located in a small agricultural and bedroom community for the Metro an hour away, the clientele mostly consists of those above the blue-collar laboring class due to price, though the prices are reasonable for most folks. Separate small bar area, a main dining area, and a more informal booth and single counter area. Many people adore the fried chicken. A fine lightly fried mixture of scallops and abalone. Oh so YUMMY! It was a fine place to dine. Casual dress okay. Folks were friendly. Mostly locals but strangers welcomed.”

“The food here is awesome! We live in Tracy and found Las Gaviotas one day on a motorcycle ride. We plan many rides in that direction just for the food!”

- The mud pie on Saturday.
- The booth seat was torn up in the front section of the diner.
“Mils began as a drive-in diner in the 50¿s; some of the memorabilia adorns the walls. They have a great mud pie on Saturday night and their farmer's breakfast is awesome. It's typical diner food in a small town, the people and service are friendly and they have some decent specials. Decor isn't much to write about.”

- Food is outstanding.
- Service is slow. Ambiance s.
“If you pass through Patterson you have to try Las gaviotas out on hwy 33. Don't expect to get out of there quick or plan on eating lunch in luxury. But that said the food is awesome. They make awesome chili rellenos. Its shrimp in a red wine and sour cream sauce sounds odd but it's wonderful. We live here locally and anytime we have friends visit this is where they want to go. Just for this dish.”
