Mike & Tony's Restaurant

- The down home atmosphere and selection of beer was good.
- I think if they would stay open later their revenue would be greater.
“I've been to restaurants in plenty of places; I've watched people all over the world stuff their faces. When I ate here without a doubt, I realized what good food was all about. The pasta was good, the drinks were great and I like the sauce right off my plate. Staff was really good and I wish we had a place like this in my neighborhood. So if youre ever up Mt. Shasta way, drop in and let your taste buds play. I like the ham on Rye and Apple Pie.”

- The service and food were excellent.
- Service was little slow.
“My friend and I had dinner and breakfast there last week ended and the food is terrific! For the price, the portions live up to the black bear diners creed! It is a very friendly diner that caters to both the local folk and visitors alike. The deserts, especially the bread pudding and blackberry cobbler are worth stopping for! I felt right at home and the service was terrific - a little slow but it was due to the amount of people stopping to eat. The diner was full both times we ate there.”

- The split pea and ham soup was excellent.
- Some of the vegetables in the pot roast had gone bad.
“Had supper there on April 27, 2007. My wife had the seniors' salmon and I had the seniors' pot roast. The split pea and ham soup that started the meal was excellent. Unfortunately, things went downhill rapidly. The meat in the pot roast was ok but some of the vegetables had gone bad. The side of green beans was good but the mashed potatoes tasted like instant flakes and the gravy seemed pretty artificial. My wife's salmon was not very fresh. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have consistently good food.”
