- Nothing.
- Filthy, Unprofessional, Unfriendly, Rude.
“This specific Carl's Jr located 9002 Firestone Blvd. Downey, CA was one of the worst Carl's Jr's I have ever been to. The tables were filthy, the service is horrible, and the food takes forever even when the restaurant is nearly empty. The workers are unfriendly and the manager/supervisor was very unprofessional and rude. I would never go there or recommend that specific location to anyone. I give them a F.”

- They take AMEX.
- All else.
“I was on the way to the airport and only had one hour to find Chinese food. I'm somewhat of an expert in the area of Chinese food, being Chinese, eating it for all of my life. I'm also part owner of a highly successful Asian fusion restaurant in SF. This food is so incredibly sub-par. Even Panda Express it twice as good. Most of the dishes in the buffet were cold, the chowmein components had no distinction, as they were just all muddled together, the kung pao chicken was made with some nasty sweet sauce and the spring rolls were the premade frozen kind. I sampled small portions of most everything, none of which I finished. I elected to leave hungry rather than eat that terrible food.”

- The employees are professionals with a smile.
- Sometimes the wait is a little long if you go on a Sunday.
“From the late 60's until 2003, I used to travel upwards of 1.5 hours, during strawberry season, just to eat and buy sox's Hawaiian-strawberry pie. I live in n. Ca now and can only dream of this pie (how I wish that I could have one shipped to me)! During those years, I met at stocks for business, family and friend meetings and was always treated like I was a daily customer. I could only wish for a place like this in n. Ca.”

- The food is about the best in the area for this type and class of restaurant.
- They have a lounge area where you might expect some respite from screaming kids. But even the kids are allowed in the lounge. You just can't get away from them!
“Great food with specials adding nice variety. The service can sometimes be a little slow so this is not a place to go when you need to just grab a bite, but is a nice place to relax and talk or if dining alone to read while you enjoy your food. ”
