Dead Fish
Sep 2, 2007 by Steve from Concord, CA
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3
Food:[3] • Service:[2] • Atmosphere:[2]

  • Cloth Napkins.
  • Everything else.

“The beverages are much overpriced. The "patio" tables are on a slope not conducive to eating and the chairs are uncomfortable plastic. One waiter was totally inadequate and he confused the orders. The en tree was not what I ordered and I was forced to accept it or have my spouse eat without me. It took some time to get the order, and then it was incorrect. The busboy was much more attentive than the wait staff. The seafood is a cookie-cutter menu from a chain-restaurant type menu. The crab sandwich had a wisp of crab that had a stale smell and lack-luster taste. The shrimp Louie salad was four rubber prawns that chewed like rubber bands. Save your hard-earned money. The views are of traffic and noise of hwy. 80. The Nantucket is a much better value with fresh seafood, good drinks, and directly on the water at the straits.”

Dead Fish
Aug 22, 2006 by Janie from Letterman
Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5
Food:[6] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[7]

  • Beautiful restaurant. Beautiful view.
  • Overpriced, small portions, mostly entries, served by teen aged kids.

“You are dining in what appears to be a classy restaurant and being served by a bunch of teenage kids. Some who are still in high school. I sat out on the patio and watched the server from the bar and 2 waiters bring food and drinks to the wrong tables several times. The restaurant and view was beautiful but the atmosphere is taken down by the children serving you. It gives it a chain restaurant feeling like Applebee's. The food was good but overpriced and the portions are small and most everything you order is an entry. I left HUNGRY.”
