Harvard Square Cafe

- Food was great.
- Waiter was rude.
“I took my friend to Harvard Square for her 50th birthday with a couple other ladies, and the waiter was not friendly at all, he was rude and it seemed like he did not want to be there or even wait on us. But the food is always great and the patio outside is nice too. I think the waiter needs to find something that makes him happy because waiting on tables it not for him.”

Rillos Restaurant

- Everything.
- It went out of business.
“Rillos was the best Italian restaurants around. Very elegant, with home made type of dishes, great wine list, the best wedding soup ever, and in the lounge they used to have the best piano player/entertainer. (where did he go to?).”

- Espies salad, margaritas, chips & salsa.
- Mexican food.
“I love the Espies salad, margarita's, chips & salsa. The food, especially the Mexican food, needs improvements. I know the owner is relatively new and doesn't want to change things since it's worked for years, which I agree to an extent. Leave the things alone that work, but update the recipes for the Mexican food. I bet you'd have more return customers. We'd like you to be around for many more years, but I don't go there for the food anymore!”

Tutti Mangia Italian Grill And Bar

- The atmosphere is nice. .
- Over priced, small portions, some dishes poorly prepared.
“Tutti mangia's prices continue to climb at a precipitous rate. Meanwhile, their food once quite good has become mediocre, and sometimes bad. Their halibut is relentlessly overcooked. (when last we were there, we cautioned our guests, 'don't order the hockey puck.') Tomato based pasta sauces are over salted. The portions have been shrinking to keep pace with the expanding prices: the gorgonzola salad we ordered last time was twice as expensive as it was a few years ago, and half the size. The service is interesting. Even with reservations, parties that are women get poor seats. The second time they offered to seat my mother and me in a cramped back table while there were several other better available locations and after I had made reservations well ahead of time, we simply walked out. Service is uneven. It has, on occasion, been excruciatingly slow. .”
