• Everything!
• The owners are huge University of Alabama fans, so beware all of you Auburn fans for walls filled with Crimson Tide memorabilia.

“John's bar-b-queue is a great little bar-b-queue place with a lot of variety. They alert all of their guests off with a basket of hush puppies that are divine! If you are not a local, I think that you should try the bar-b-queue stuffed potato, but be sure to top it off with lots of white sauce. People from this area can't eat their bar-b-queue without it. It is delicious on anything that they serve at the place! Enjoy!”

• Nice, rustic building.
• Loud, rude, rap music from the kitchen. Lots of laughing in the back.

“I was traveling and had been told by many I should eat here. Food was not good. At 6:00 pm I was told there was only 1 cornbread muffin and it was cooked "this morning". Was not offered anything in its place. Hushpuppies were nasty, cold and hard as a brick bat. Loud, very crude rap music was coming from the kitchen and lots of laughing in the kitchen area. Not professional at all. Maybe there should have been more cornbread cooking and less laughing and playing. Will never go there again.”

• Large, fresh salad bar; great steaks; good sweet tea; great chicken fingers; friendly atmosphere.
• They can get really busy at times.
