Friendly Greek Restaurant
Nov 6, 2009 by Joe from toronto
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7
Food:[7] • Service:[7] • Atmosphere:[7]

  • The food is OK.
  • Cheated the take out customer.

“I ordered a chicken salad take out and the chicken was half the size when I ate at the restaurant during the same week. I feel cheated and like to this for follow take out customer to check the order before leaving the restaurant. I tried calling the restaurant to complain and the phone number was disconnected.”

Babur Restaurant
Aug 23, 2009 by Dee from NYC
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Food, ambience, location.
  • Service was a bit slow which was probably due to the lean time we visited the restaurant.

“Best Indian restaurant in Downtown Toronto. Food is just awesome, specially the Tandoor appetizers. Each dish tastes different compared to the usual Indian restaurants where the same gravy is used for all entrees. And priced right and light on your wallet. Must visit!”

Pier 4 StoreHouse Restaurant
May 8, 2009 by Steve from Detroit
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3
Food:[3] • Service:[1] •

  • Looks good, right on the harbor with plenty of outside seating.
  • Absolutely incompetent service. Food is mediocre at best.

“We were a little after the normal lunch crowd, or at least, the place was maybe 40% full no waiting to sit and choice of multiple tables. We chose to sit outside, and proceeded to wait 15 minutes for our server to arrive. The server took our drinks order, and vanished before taking our lunch order. Another 10 minutes passed before our drinks arrives, and then we waited another 5 minutes before we could place our order. A cheeseburger for the wife, chicken wrap for me.45 minutes later, we finally get food that is cold, obviously reheated and then stuck under a heat lamp (the bottom of my wrap is burnt brown. My wife's burger is like a hockey-puck). Both our drinks are long gone haven't seen our server to be able to order another round. We asked to speak to a manager, but none could find one, although two of them were wandering around trying to ignore the customers. We waited another 10 minutes for the bill to be processed (no discounts or apologies) Cold Cheese burger.”

Mars Restaurant
Feb 18, 2009 by Matthew
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3
Food:[1] • Service:[7] • Atmosphere:[3]

  • Good chocolate milk.
  • Staff not very clean and bacon lead to food poisoning.

“I went to Mars diner on family day and the food was the worst I have ever had. I ordered the pancakes and I could not even cut them with my fork and knife. My one brother had eggs which he said were okay and my other brother had eggs and bacon and was food poisoned because the bacon was not cooked well. The staff was not very clean and the diner needs an upgrade. I did though like their chocolate milk which was made with a milk machine of some sort, chocolate syrup and a blender. It is a good spot to stop in for a milkshake or chocolate milk but not a good place to stop for food.”

Hoops Sports Bar & Grill
Jan 29, 2009 by Don from Hamilton
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7
Food:[6] • Service:[5] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Atmosphere.
  • Slow taps.

“We were walking up Younge Street on our way to see We Will Rock you at the Panasonic Theater and stopped in at this pub. An old Pubaholic, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The wing was decent, they were a little dry but it is my experience that one should ask for saucy wings when ordering at any pub. Had a good time and would go back again next time we are in town.”
