“my lobster was over priced and under garnished when I asked for a side of vegetables with my 50$ 1 and 1/4 lobster I was told ''we'll see what we can do nearly 20 minutes later as I was finishing my meal the small side of vegetables arrived. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.”

“Had one of my worst dining experiences ever at the curry village in Halifax early in 2007.they didn't honor my reservation, made 3 days in advance; service was indifferent and incompetent; beer was lukewarm; food was mediocre, tasted reheated; waited 25 minutes to get the bill. Curry village is a disgrace to Halifax Im surprised the place is still open. Avoid at all costs!”

  • Wonderful food and delightful decor.
  • Its so popular it gets crowded.

“We were spending a week in Halifax last summer and went to Opa on the recommendation of my sister. Everything about it was wonderful. The food was exquisite, the service excellent and the atmosphere perfect. My husband and I have traveled a lot and this had to be one of our favorite restaurants ever! ”
