  • Great atmosphere, right off the main road.
  • I have nothing negative to say about this place.

“This is what most people think as a typical English cafe. Scones and tea specials, a good magazine or today's paper, just two properties from the main street. We stayed at the tower house hotel on this street (which by the way I also recommend) and so it was nice and close. We visited it twice on our one day trip to Oxford. Ship street, the street that it is on, is a small narrow street, but it is right off the main road. The main road is mostly pedestrian only. Of course it is not the only cafe in oxford, but it is one of the quaintest and right beside a church and the oldest building in Oxford, the Nokia Cellular Phone store.”
