• Flea infestation. Large red welts from bed bug bites. Staff that lies

“We booked two rooms. We asked the hotel if they had a room with 2 double beds and they said no. They put us in two pet-friendly, smoking rooms with a king bed in each. Both rooms were infested with fleas. After we caught a couple fleas we went to speak with the manager. He mysteriously found two available non-smoking rooms with two double beds in each on a floor where pets weren't allowed that we moved our things into. No fleas in these rooms but, four out of the six of us ended up with large red welts the next morning from bed bug bites. This hotel definintely gives the worst possible room if you book your stay on priceline. I would never stay there again.”

• A good location.
• From our room you could only see the side of a building.

“Parking is a problem, unloading or loading is a problem. When parking in the parking garage, which only allowed the guest to park on the top level. For a handicap person this was a long climb of 4 stories. Only 4 handicap spots close to the hotel. I will not stay there again due to a lack of handicap parking spaces.”

• The hotel was conveniently located to everything. We walked to the restaurants and Riverfront just across the streets. We never had to drive anywhere.
• There was nothing that I did not like.

“This is an excellent place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast buffet, plus the sundown reception three nights a week is good. Parking is available and only cost $7 per day. Check in and out was very easy.”

• Happy with everything.

“Not a fancy but yet is a very good, clean, new hotel in excellent location. No room service and no pool/hot tub but it doesn't matter - we don't go visit a great city with lots of things to do and see like Savannah and waste our time sitting by the pool, we totally enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again if we come back to Savannah.”

• Accommodated non-smoking room change for us.

“They were extremely accommodating with a switch to a non-smoking room, even though they were not required to do so. My husband had come down with a cold the day before we left & it became an issue and an unexpected request. Very nice rooms, nice evening reception and great breakfast! Outstanding service.”

• Historic building (1851) in downtown. Great breakfast! Great Tue-Thur happy hour.
• Valet parking only - get a visitor 48 hour parking pass for $8.

• The lobby was beautiful and the location could not have been better.
• The corridor to the guest rooms are hot and muggy.

“Upon arrival at the Stay bridge, the staff gave us a warm Savannah welcome. The lobby was very inviting and has very nice area with tables and comfy chairs to enjoy your breakfast in the morning or snacks and cold beverages in the evening for the sundowner reception. The hotel is located right on Bay Street which is just across the street from the Riverfront and centrally located, so everything downtown is within a five to 15 minute walk at the most. The only real regret that I had was only being there for one night.”

• The location was very good, right on bay street downtown Savannah.
• Parking was terrible, valet only, front desk did not care if you were there or not.

“The hotel is located in a great spot. The rooms need upgraded. Our bathroom door would not close unless the toilet lid was up. The room was very small with a window that looked into an inside hallway. The price is way too high for the quality of the room. The hotel staff was very unfriendly, check in slow, and an attitude of they do not care. Not impressed and won't be staying here again.”

• Not perfectly clean, ran out of headsets for treadmill, can't give directions when I couldn't find hotel.

“The room was clean but not perfect. Light from outside made it bright enough to read in the room with the lights turned out. The coffeepot was left dirty and had micro organism growing in it. Breakfast was good. I would not stay here again.”

• The breakfast, the nice accommodating suites, and the people that worked there were nice.
• The fact that it did not have a shuttle from the airport.

“This hotel is set in a renovated building right across the street from river street. It is comfortable, all rooms have a kitchenette, are very clean and they have a wonderful breakfast every morning. But what will keep me coming back, is the wonderful friendly staff here on every level. They were great!”

“Enjoyed our stay, room was large and nicely furnished and decorated. It was quite comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located in the historic district which made using our room throughout the day very easy. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.”

• At check in that valet was the only option (@12.00/day). A guest told us there was free behind the hotel. It would have been nice to have the option/.

• The fridge in the room was very noisy.

“This was an excellent value. Mon-Thurs they served snacks, wine & beer at 5:00pm, and breakfast was available each morning. All was included in the price of the room. It's in a great location - only 1 block from the river and the historic district. The staff was wonderful. Parking is valet only and $12 per day, but someone is available around the clock to fetch your car if needed. The rooms have a small kitchen fully stocked with dishes. The fridge was very noisy, which we reported upon check out. This was a perfect spot for our 3 days in Savannah.”

“Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. However, the size of the room was a little smaller than I was led to believe. The staff was great, the experience was a delight.”

“The entire staff of this hotel was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help with everything we needed and made sure to greet us every time they saw us. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and comfortable.”

• The location was perfect and central for everything we wanted to do.
• The staff that worked in the mornings at the breakfast area was a little rude.

“I really liked Stay bridge. We stayed there for my sister's wedding and the location was perfect. I thought the rooms were clean and large. The facilities were adequate and the staff was helpful. My only complaint was the staff that manned the breakfast area. They were very vocal about customers not busing their tables after they had eaten. I agree that everyone should have cleaned up after themselves but there was no sign posted and the dish receptacle was not well displayed. In the future, I would recommend a sign explaining the rules of the breakfast area and ask the staff to be a little more understanding and professional.”

• The location was Great. We were close to just about everything.
• I didn't like that we had to pay for parking.

“This hotel surpassed all of our expectations. The location was the best. We were close to Riverwalk and in the heart of the Historic District. The area had many restaurants to choose from and we loved sitting and relaxing by the river. We can't wait to visit Savannah and stay ant Stay bridge Suites again.”

• No swimming pool. Doors opening and closing were loud from other rooms.

• Good location just one block from Bay street.
• Only valet parking is available, no on-street parking.

“Great room, comfortable beds, nice mini-kitchen suitable for longer stays. Common area is in oldest part of building, and is charming. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking is the only negative for this location. Pretty much have to use their valet parking.”

• Valet parking.

“Our stay was perfect! Couldn't have a more comfortable bed or better room. Mini kitchen was so complete right down to the pots and pans. Located right across from the River walk in the historic district with fun shopping and restaurants. Full, hot buffet breakfast was an unexpected luxury. Doesn't get any better than this.”

• Hotel management very uneven - manager of valet was worthless.

“Good. Clean. Very convenient to historic district and downtown. I liked the suite, it was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is poor. Parking lot is secure but unfinished with dirt floor and lots of potholes. Loading area is on angle and carts run right into cars (such as mine).”

“I wanted a non-smoking room and requested, it did not get it. I don't smoke at home and I don't like paying for a room that I have to smell all weekend. Everything I asked the staff they did not know. And some of staff was rude. The rooms were clean and very attractive. Really enjoyed the hot breakfast. But the smell of room ruined it for me. It was our 33rd anniversary.”
