• Small pool/hot tub.

• Very modern, friendly staff, great room.
• Noisy elevators.

“My first time at the Indigo. It was a great place to stay. Nice staff, great room and the high shower was the size of most bathrooms. I'll take this place every time I'm in Sarasota.”

• Attractive decor.
• Not great views from rooms.

“The desk staff was helpful and efficient. The room was attractively decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bath was clean, stylish and relaxing addendum. Onsite parking was convenient and exceeded expectations.”

• Our bed was great! My 6 yr old daughter said "Mommy, this bed feel like snow!" I agreed, even though she was sleep-talking!
• The bottled h2o was not complimentary - 3.00 per bottle, and no mini fridge in room.

“Overall, Hotel Indigo was a pleasant surprise. It was very relaxing, with a really comfy, and very clean room and pretty spa-inspired bathroom. The pool was not a pool at all. There were 2 whirlpools, one was hot, one was cold - (intentionally spa therapeutic). We did not use the wet area however. The beautiful Siesta beach is just a short drive. We thought Siesta was nicer than Lido, but Lido is VERY nice also. Armond Circle is beautiful, fun and more upscale restaurants. Over 4 ice-cream shops-fun for all ages!”

• Absolutely stunning, unique, great decor, helpful staff.
• Only offered a wading pool.

“I absolutely loved this hotel, beautiful linens, hard wood floors, spacious shower, gorgeously decorated. My husband and I had a great visit and will return. The staff was helpful with maps and dinner/restaurant suggestions. I encourage people to stay at the Indigo Hotel.”

• Hotel/rooms had beautiful nontraditional decor, nicely unique furnishings and bath.
• There was too much noise from other guests due to very light construction of hotel walls/floors.

“This new, small-ish hotel (4 floors) has a beautiful, casual decor. The (nice) non-traditional open furniture in the room and bath gives a clean appearance (like a beach house) and is utilitarian. The downtown location is convenient to the keys, beaches, sights, and all. Cons: no telephone books. Noise from other guests (slamming doors, loud talking, loud televisions) seemed to go right through the light construction of the walls and floors. Sum: Beautiful hotel but I likely won't be back due to noise.”

• The overall appearance and color scheme. Just thought it was fresh and exciting.
• The restaurant is horrible as is the staff.

“Check in was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room spacious and beautifully decorated with the air of islands/ocean. The hotel restaurant food was good but the service was absolutely deplorable. No professional experience at all. No real comphrehension of the English language. Had to litterally beg for service. Other than that, I would highly recommend the hotel - afterall, you can eat out...”

• Clean modern decore with essential amentities.
• Was not aware in advance that the hotel had no pool.

“A very pleasent hotel with attractive contemporary decore both in and out of the room.
For me it was a welcome change of pace to stay at a reasonably priced hotel that did not wrap the experience around the assumtion that you are a family with children.”
