• Very nice, clean rooms. Office very helpful.
• Nothing.

“Hotel is great. I had stayed at the Hilton for 5 days prior, and I wish I had stayed here the whole time. This hotel rooms were nicer than the 4 star Hilton. The office was very helpful, and room service is very reasonably priced. It also arrives at exactly the time you selected. I will definitely stay here again and will fully recommend.”

• Renovated hotel, convenient parking, well appointed.
• Phone did not work in room despite repeated attempts to resolve.

“Renovated hotel at the top of the Golden Triangle. Spacious lobby and restaurant facilities. Convenient pool and exercise room. Rooms are well designed and the access to the building is well lit at all entrances.”

• Convenient location into town & easy access to freeway.
• Rooms recently converted to non-smoking and still smelled smoke.

• Apartment construction out. Back window, no free breakfast.

“Too bad, no free continental breakfast. The Hampton Inn down the street is somewhat comparable but with their free breakfast, I'll probably stay there next time.”

• The decor was update and exquisite.

“Overall, a nice hotel. Only downside was that only smoking rooms were available for what we needed. I was very pleased with the hotel overall, especially for the price!”

• Comfy beds, upscale for Holiday Inn, plus sentimental value.
• Initial check-in experience was a bit frustrating.

“For the first time, they gave us a hard time about switching rooms. We were initially given a smoking room and my wife was not able to stay in a room that wreaked of smoke. We were told that there were no other rooms available. I tried unsuccessfully to have the rooms switched, my pregnant wife had to tell them that she would be sick the whole weekend if we didn't get a non-smoking room. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable.”

• The beds were very comfortable. The business center was very convenient as well as the in-room WiFi.
• The breakfast buffet was $10 per person. I was under the impression that breakfast was included as part of the room charge.

“This was a nice hotel for business travelers. It has an indoor pool and fitness center, a convenient business center with computers and a copier, and WiFi available in-room. The beds are clean and comfortable. The $10/person breakfast buffet is a little steep for families, and there's not much of a local option for breakfast nearby. Best bet is to stock up the mini-fridge and use the microwave.”

• Very good beds, clean room, good staff, very friendly.
• Hot tub was out of order.

“Very impressed with the rooms and the comfort of the bed. I would stay here again. We had some deaf people traveling with us and the staff was very cooperative with their special needs. The restaurant was very good although just a bit expensive. My coffee pot broke one evening around 11 PM. These rooms have good bedding, large bathrooms, microwave and fridge. Very nice.”

• I liked the new look of this hotel.
• I got a smoking room or at least it smelled like one with holes in carpet etc.

“I was pleasantly surprised with this Holiday Inn. I did not expect it to be so update and modern. The room was very spacious and the king size bed was very comfy. The bathroom was roomy for one and I enjoyed the multiple setting massage shower head.”

• This is a new hotel. The rooms and amenities were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• I had no complaints.

“From the moment I called to get directions until a checked out two days later, my stay was pleasant. The atmosphere is relaxing and the management thought of many ways to make this an excellent hotel for travelers. I look forward to my next stay there.”

• Contemporary style, brand new building & furnishing.
• Room felt crowed, not too relax.

“I like the design of the lobby. It made you felt you're escaped to the right place. The front desk should have less attitude (some of them) to be more professional. The room felt a little be to crowed. Well, overall, it was a nice short stay.”

• The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable.
• There is no continental breakfast like other Holiday Inns.

“This is a very nice, clean, and comfortable hotel. The indoor pool is hard to find and loud for those just wanting to relax. Most hotels in this class offer continental breakfast, but this Holiday Inn does not.”

• Hotel staff seemed more interested in doing paperwork than helping us.

“This Holiday Inn is new, modern, and comfortable. It offers good ameneties, spacious rooms, and very comfortable beds. While its location limits travelers without cars to relying on its services, it is nevertheless a pleasant place to stay.”

• Staff was friendly, hotel was new, room was comfortable, quiet, relaxing, a pleasurable stay.
• The ATM machine was broken.

“Hotel was brand new. It even smelled like new construction. The staff was very friendly. One young man held the door open so that I could carry my luggage in. The room was air conditioned upon our arrival and the bed was comfortable. I had a very quiet, relaxing, a pleasurable stay. The only thing that didn't work on this trip was the ATM machine in the lobby.”

• Down pillows and comforters were great.
• Indoor pool-gross.

“Very clean, sharp, easy access from interstate. Personable and helpful staff. Classy colors in rooms. Again, the down comforters were wonderful. Have not stayed at a Holiday Inn in over 20 years. Will definitely do again. My daughter is attending college in Denton and this hotel will be where we will stay for each visit.”

• The staff made the stay. They professionalism was incredible. They are a staff for a 5 star!
• I was placed in a smoking room by default. Not enough rooms. They tried to clean it. It smelled every day.

“The hotel was in a great location. The staff wonderful beyond expectations. They truly belong in a 5 star facility. The rooms could be updated, and use neutral warm colors to keep up with the times. The pool area was great, and I enjoyed the Jacuzzi. But, there should be a separate Jacuzzi for adults. When the kids are in the pool, they are incredibly loud. They also would jump in and out of the Jacuzzi. Which made it hard for the experience to be relaxing. Overall, the hotel was great. The bar and lounge was very decorative. Again, the staff made the experience.”

• The breakfast buffet was delicious. The decor was modern not outdated. Great selection of TV channels.
• No rags in room. Called front desk. Took them 30-45 minutes in bring them.

• Clean, quiet - even with several sports teams staying the same night!
• Pool hours should have been longer, pool should have been heated, and wireless connects very slow - wired connection much better though.

“This hotel had something for everyone - nice indoor pool (albeit not heated), internet connection for business travelers, nice restaurant for couples. Parking was convenient; staff was virtually invisible but locatable when needed.”
