“Bad mosquito problem! Be advised that there are enough mosquitoes inside the rooms to make your life - and vacation - miserable. Others have reported this problem before, and the owners of the place, have an arsenal of things to fight them off, all not working. This is totally unacceptable given the price being asked for accommodation on this area. As for the rest, the food is okay, but very expensive given the incredible bargains to be had in nearby places (where they also have very fresh food) for 1/2, sometimes 1/3 the price. (Try abundance restaurant in nearby Agropoli with their 3 Euro a bottle of local wine. We were there during the high season, and the place (and restaurant) had very few clients. Breakfast there means a plate of cake slices (The same cake everyday, day after day) plus uncooked bread, corn flakes, and juices in plastic cups. Again, everyday was the same diet. Where's the cheese the owner raves about? How about something other than corn flakes? By the third day, we just went elsewhere for breakfast each morning. Also please note that there are no beach chairs and umbrellas (maybe there were locked away, but hotel staff could not help us). If you get early enough, you can sniff the stuffy smell of the night watchman's cigarette smoke the fills the air (smoking is supposed to be prohibited) although the owners, who claim to run a natural and organic hotel, smoke heavily along with hotel staff, whenever, they get a chance, albeit on the patio, but still. What can I say, I had reasonable expectations looking at their website and seeing the nice building and surroundings. But ultimately, this is a place to avoid in my book from now on. The owners unfortunately, for all of their knowledge about the regions and points of interest, have no interest in investing for such primitive necessities as a decent screens, a decent basic breakfast, and a respecting small (yet important) promises of a couple of beach chairs and umbrella. Never again.” Mar 13, 2009 by

“A nice place close to the beach, cozy atmosphere, owners & guests in love with nature, wonderful organic restaurant.” Oct 8, 2008 by

“My wife, son (18 months) and I spent wonderful days in this hotel at the end of August 2008. The hotel is located a few steps from a sandy beach, which extends kilometers to each side. The hotel has its own private beach, which is very clean and looked after, and the room prices include two beach chairs and an umbrella. The hotel is surrounded by pine trees, which give cooling shadow to the hotel and its guests. The interior is very stylish, grown to the relaxed but intelligent owners of this place. We had half board and enjoyed the tasty food. This is a restaurant belonging to the slow food movement. Local products come first, and the local cuisine, simple Italian cooking. The lunch and dinner room was downstairs, and with the doors opened, we enjoyed the cooling breeze from the sea, as the summer temperatures in August are hot. The music was atmospheric and added more magic to this place. In the evening we sat in front of the hotel, having a drink and talking to other guests, it was truly relaxing and enriching. We never felt our son was disturbing anybody, the child friendliness of Italians is superb, and this was the case here too. Well, we are already planning to come back next year. Our only problem was the zanzare (mosquitoes), which coming from industrial Germany we did not know how to deal with at first. After two nights we had defensive measures in place to combat them, and all was well.” Hotel Representatives:
