• Nice place to stay.
• Noisy between rooms. Milk was not available in the evening. I'm a coffee drinker, but sometimes milk is more important.

• Clean and quiet.
• I had to call for a different coffee maker - 1st one didn't work.

“Clean, well-maintained, and comfortable; the staff was helpful and there was a good variety of both hot and cold items offered at breakfast.”

• The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was nice especially the cinnamon rolls and eggs.
• The hot tub could have been cleaner. There were suds in the hot tub.

“Very comfortable for traveling. It had everything we needed as far as being comfortable and a pool for the kids. There is a great offering for breakfast - something for everyone.”

• Good breakfast.
• Carpets were dirty.

“When we arrived the staff were eating pizza in the back room, had to wait over a minute for someone to notice I was there. The hallways needed to be vacuumed when we arrived, and they were still not done when we left the next day.”

• The continental breakfast was very good.
• I would have liked to room more if it had a flat screen plasma TV.

• Clean facility, good internet.
• No desk in the room.

“Seemingly new hotel, clean facility. For a resort vacation area, this hotel has no frills. It's more of a business hotel. The pool area is big and friendly for kids, but theres nothing else about the hotel that you'd pick it to stay in. Overall, I was happy with my stay - I was there on business, but I would have been a little disappointed as a vacationer.”

• Clean.
• Refuses us smoking room and had to take what they gave us non-smoking.

“When we arrived we were told by the front desk clerk that they had no smoking room available, and we had to take what they gave us. We did cancel our 2nd night and went to another area hotel.”

• Convenient location.
• They did not shovel the snow after heavy snow. It is not well lit.

“Overall it was a pleasant stay. It was hard to find at first as there were no signs. On the main street. Since it is behind another motel a sign would of been helpful. We arrived in the evening so the road leading up to the motel was hard to see. But it was comfortable once we were there.”

• Right price right where I wanted a hotel.
• Bed was too hard.

“Very clean comfortable stay. Was able to get in relax and get good nights sleep. Great for travelers visiting Traverse City or Turtle Creek Casino.”

• Convenient, clean rooms, supportive manager.
• Drinking water and bath had strong and unpleasant sulpher odor and a foul taste, had to purchase bottled water, very slow elevator and had only 1.

“Unit manager was very helpful in upgrading our room to a suite with a view of the east bay. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

• Free breakfast.
• The water had a strange (sulfur?) Odor and taste.

“Impossible to see the hotel sign going east. Nice location otherwise. The elevator is very, very slow. The rooms were nice, but the TV hummed and the heater also made a lot of noise.”

• Nice looking room; clean, with everything we needed.
• The blower was industrial strength- Very loud!

“Hotel was located behind another, so we drove right by the first time. We enjoyed our stay very much except for the fact that the air blower was extremely loud - hard to hear TV and difficult to sleep when it was on. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very nice with lots to choose from.”

• Nice surroundings to go running. staff very nice and helpful.
• No workout room.

“The location was great for what I was doing in the area, yet not far from downtown Traverse City. Staff was helpful, room and entire hotel was well maintained. I would have liked a workout room but there were some nice trails to run nearby.”

• Everything was easy. Easy access. Easy parking. Easy breakfast.
• For deluxe rooms you cannot specify 'nonsmoking'. I don't like smoking rooms.
