“A dump. Rooms are not clean and linens are worn and cigarette-burned old bed covers seem to be the norm in many rooms.”

• Cable.
• Bathtub floor.

“3rd time I stayed at this location. Besides one dirty towel, the bathtub was the slimiest I ever stepped in. The dollar store shower head was only a little better, but did not keep the water temperature from it's wild fluctuations. Big bed and soft pillows though.”

• Convenient location where we needed to be at a reasonable price.
• Toilet did not flush correct, room and hallways smelled of smoke, no elevator to 2nd floor.

“The hotel is 1 star. The hotel is serviceable but not nice. The cigarette smell was very strong in the room and hallways. No elevator to 2nd floor.”

“The front desk personnel gave me a room that was already occupied at 12am in the morning. I walked into the room a scared the heck out of poor soul who was sound asleep. I was given another room promptly.”

• The room, bathtub, sink, linens, towels were dirty and they never change or clean.

“The room, bathtub, sink, linens, towels were dirty and they never changed the linens, towels etc although I stayed there 8 nights and I asked for it many times. They don't clean the room, bathroom etc. The hotel staff was not helpful and friendly at all.”

• Very secure, needed room key to get in my building.
• Besides the caked fuzz in the fan in the bathroom, I was pricked by old fingernails in the bad.

“The housekeeping staff must not be paid well. Under the comforter there was black fuzz on my sheets. The maintenance staff needs to clean the fan in the bathroom as it has caked debris on it.”

• Staff was pleasant and very helpful.
• Rooms were not cleaned in between quests.

“When I arrived at the hotel I was put into a single room and not in double. I was then put into a double and the room had not been cleaned in between quests. I will never return to this hotel. But I must say the young gentleman behind the desk was very helpful and professional, went out of his way to help remedy the situation.”

• Cleaning service wakes you up at 8 am to clean your room.

“I would rather spend the money for a nicer hotel than stay at this dump. Very poor in the clean department and the maid service comes to your door at 8 am to see if you are in need of cleaning.”

• There is nothing I didn't like.

“The room was very comfortable. They gave me a refrigerator upon request and I also found a coffeemaker and microwave. The TV wasn't working at first, but as soon as I reported it the technician came to adjust it.”

• Friendly staff, helpful, descent breakfast included in room price. Able to order food from an assortment of food choices, good location.
• Nothing to say good experience.

“Great location, friendly, clean, room smelled like smoke but I'm a smoker and asked for smoking room so was expected. Not at all annoying in anyway. Separate building entirely for non smokers which is good because they are usually angry people. Good definitely stay again.”

• The value and simplicity of check in/out.

“Two of my friends and I stayed here in order to go into New York City for New Year's, as it was much cheaper than getting a hotel in Newark or NYC, and it was entirely sufficient for the price we paid. The staff that we encountered was helpful and fulfilled our requests for both extra complimentary bath necessities (shampoo, toothbrush, etc.) and towels. It's not glamorous, but if you're looking for a place to sleep and get ready for your day, it does the job well. The high-speed internet worked, the continental breakfast had several different offerings, and the cleanliness was up-to-par with any other hotel chain that I have stayed in.”

“This hotel has general problem. I have been other one start motel such as motel 6. They were much better than this one. The room they gave to me did change bed sheet. I need ask another room. The shower was broken. Floor is dirty.”

• Cleanliness not much. Shower was not working.

“Water was not coming in the shower in the first room they gave. They changed the room. After 3 days the shower knob came in hand in the new room too. The hotel was not kept clean.”

“Was not as scary as others made it out to be. The room was relatively clean. Some stains in the tub were kind of gross. But other than that it was fine. Bed was comfortable.”

“Clean & convenient. Decent breakfast. Limited TV program selection. Three different parties were left waiting at check-in desk for 5 minutes or more at 6.30 pm because nobody was there. I was annoyed when I found I could have walked in and saved $6.00 with my AARP discount.”

“The hotel had a bad smell throughout the first night. My wife said it was bad cleaning products, I thought it was urine. The second night wasn't quite as bad, but I could still smell it.”

“Convenient location and inexpensive. But, hotel need maintenance all over the property. Parking lot was flooded in one area. Pool wasn't ready yet (June 4). Key access to the door to the floor wasn't needed -- door didn't close all of the way allowing anyone to walk in. This is a 1-star property.”

• Not a La Quinta yet, way below La Quinta standards, Poor cleaning of room.

“1st night, the complimentary shampoo in my room was used, 1/2 empty and not sealed. The motel had no record of me checking in which resulted in my room not being cleaned after 1st night, remedied my 2nd night. Bathroom not cleaned thoroughly each day (washcloth left on shower head, shower walls not washed down). Each morning all rooms had the daily paper left outside except mine. TV cable reception poor, channel variety, dismal.”

• Very easy access to the highway. Clearly signed.
• More than 50% of lights and lamps did not operate.

“This is the 'Economy Model'. You get a bed, a shower, a coffee maker and nobody bothers you. Good deal there. Bed is comfortable but the blankets were laughable. Horrible shower or bathroom. Ok, but the only lighting in my unit was the heat lamp. Annoying, but nice and warm. Staff, out of sight, out of mind. But that's a good thing. You get what you pay for.”

“The bath room light did not work. The toilet seat was broken. The sheets and towels were of poor quality, dingy with holes. The rooms needed a paint job. Carpets and furniture were stained and the rooms and hall way had a foul smell which must have been bad, if I can smell it with my sinus problem. ”

• Hotel front desk staff and room refresh staff very nice and professional
• Hotel needs to have maintenance done. three rooms. . . two toilets loose/leaking

“The hotel is located right at the junction of 287 and rt 10. Close to restaurants and pathmark store nearby. There is just a need for general maintenance; hollow core doors coming apart, paint chipped on doors, etc. We were very dissatisfied with the room quality. The staff was very helpful and courteous. ”
