• Very nicely renovated. Modern and clean. Great location.
• Rooms are smallish with not much of a view however it probably wouldn't have made a difference if they had a better views.

• Great location! Room was very comfortable and modern. Loved it.
• Needs to provide a refrigerator in the hotel rooms as part of the accommodations and not require additional charge.

“Received good service with luggage when we arrived. Rooms were ready early and we could check in before noon since we had taken a red-eye flight from CA. Very comfortable room with lots of pillows. Lounge chair was great place to relax. Best of all the location was perfect for our first trip to NY! Thanks!”

“After a 1 month tour landing in this hotel was heaven! Beds are comfy, fantastic location you can walk anywhere and get anywhere from where you are and it was in a really safe area. Staff are really friendly and the rooms are more than adequate for NYC! Highly recommended”

• Excellent location, very nicely appoointed room, and a great view.
• Room was too hot, $20 per day for internet access - I don't expect to be nickeled and dimed at a four-star hotel.

“The hotel is quite nice with a killer location on Times Square and a helpful staff. Very cosmopolitan guests - I heard many, many languages from other travelers. The rooms are not large, but nicely decorated with comfortable beds. However, the room was too warm and the air conditioner was not effective. I heard other guests complaining about the same conditions. Also there was a$20/day charge for wifi access. Even the business center charged $10 for ten minutes. Not very business friendly.”

• Great central location, spacious room, clean, staff were great, and a nice lobby.

“Loved the room with the exception that it was for someone with special needs. All in all, very spacious and great value for a room in a 4 star hotel for NYC. Staff were lovely, I did not get a chance to eat in the restaurants. Concierge was really helpful for booking the shuttle back to the airport. All in all, excellent stay at the Crowne plaza.”

• Location, cleanliness.
• Slow response for housekeeping requests. Charging for Wi Fi. Had to ask for refrigerator in room.

“Enjoyed our stay. Clean, neat and friendly. Great location. Felt that WI FI should be free. No bar or refrigerator in room. Had to ask for one. Took 4 phone calls until they delivered one. Same for request for missing towels. Minor problem. Would use this hotel again.”

• The two beds were very small.

• Bathroom shower faucets did not work well.

“For the price I paid excellent. The room had a good view and was comfortable. The bathroom shower handle was difficult to use, but for the price it was great! I do not know if our room/stay is the four star level when compared to other four stars I have stayed. I'd rate at 3-3.5 star.”

• Impressed with the renovated room. Good value for money.
• Water pressure was not good in the new installed fixtures. Challenge of moving from street too room took much time.

“The linens, fixtures, colors are on par with the upper end luxury chains. The entire lobby was filled for hours with people waiting to check in. It is in a good location in Time Square. I used the gym. The gym, on the 15th floor is run by New York Sport Club. The public areas of the gym are pretty good - but they have some broken equipment. Unlike other hotel gyms where you get water, a locker and a towel - you are limited here. So either change in your room or bring your own lock, towel and water bottle as well as headphones.”

• The concierge was willing to help us with very informal, low cost arrangements for dinner.

“This was a great location right in Times Square. The drive up entrance was around the back of the hotel and impossible to find, so call ahead for directions. The room was very comfy with an upscale feel. The concierge was very helpful making a quick dinner arrangement for us. The pool was mostly for exercising but they make sure to set aside one lane for family fun.”

“This hotel was as advertised on Priceline. A fantastic value for the money. It was 4 star, perfect location, modern, very clean, great service and most of all the beds were super comfortable. Great stay!”

• The hotel staff and the room more than met my expectations, I also loved the location we could not have ask for a better location.
• I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

“The Crowne Plaza staff and the rooms exceeded our expectations. I had read reviews in the past about the staff not being friendly, but this isn't true at all. The staff went above from directions to where to go eat.”

• Centralized location.
• The Quiet Zone floor we were on was ridiculously loud and management didn't care.

“Overall, not horrible. They did not clean only replaced towels and forgot to replace cups. The quiet zone hall we were on was supposed to have
no young children etc. We had a baby across the hall and next to us that wailed all night and when we called management, they did nothing about it. That being said, the location and ease of access to all the shows, shops and museums (which is why we went) was awesome!”

• Water pressure in the shower was not strong enough.

“Staff was fabulous! Accommodations were wonderful. Bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water for showers. Location was great & safe. Staff checked for room key at night at the elevators. The only thing I would change would be to have more water pressure in the shower so it would not take so long for us females to rinse the shampoo out of our hair. I LOVED this hotel.”

• It was in an idle location and all the staff were great.
• Nothing.

“The staff at Crowne plaza were excellent. They went above and beyond to find us a new room, even though they were pretty booked. We had to wait while they prepared a room but offered us beverages while we waited, as well as a breakfast voucher. I was so touched by their service, i recommend this hotel.”

“We had nothing but positive experiences at the Crowne Plaza. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, the security after hours was comforting, the staff was accommodating, and the concierge went out of her way to help. Not needing to struggle with any aspect of our accommodations meant we were able to concentrate on our purpose for being in New York!”
