“Great location for business trip to Woodland Hills. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. I was able to spread out my papers and computer and get work done. Exercise room was clean, above average, and open in the middle of the night in many hotels, the exercise room closes at 10pm. Same with pool. Tacky of Marriott to charge substantial extra fees for parking and internet access.”

- Great location, close to all the food and shopping and not even a mile away from the 101 freeway.
- Customer service was not the best. Not the most friendly hotel.
“They ended up charging me again for my whole stay. When I called to complain to the accounting at the hotel the lady was not the nicest to me when it was their fault and they said it would take them 48 hours to put the money back into my account. Did not say sorry for what happened. Probably will not be staying at this hotel again, I have a hard time staying somewhere when the people that work there are not to nice. When you check in with a debit card make sure they don't charge you again for your stay.”

“The hotel is great nic people at the front desk. The room a little small but clean with balcony. The resturant was good and they even have a Starbuks in the lobby. I did not like the fact that you have to pay for parking 14.00 per night!”

- Lobby was very nice.
- They Charged for internet hookup in the room. And Parking was not free.
“The Hotel was ideally situated for where I had to be. Near Freeways which was good. The lobby was nice. The person that checked me in was didn't crack a smile. After a 6 hour flight from NY. it would have been nice to see a happy person. The Hotel charges $12.95 for Internet access, I felt it was not nice, after all they market themselves to the business traveler. Also they charged for parking this was the valley not LA. Wholly inappropriate. The pool and health club were nice and have breakfast out on the patio was nice.”

- Only 2 computers in business room -1 was broken, no water in exercise room 2 out of 3 days.

- All the staff was friendly and helpful.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable but we expected two queens instead of two doubles. The room service did not start until 6 AM and we needed it earlier (5 AM). But, the oatmeal was excellent. The TV remote was very complicated and there did not seem to be a lot of regular channels.”

- Access to the fitness center and indoor pool was amazing, as was the balcony in the room.
- My room was not very clean.
“Friendly and helpful staff greeted me and were readily available whenever I needed them. The hotel itself is being renovated, and the newly completed areas are lovely. The older areas are in need of the renovation. The heated indoor pool and the fitness center make this the kind of hotel you can bring a family to and never leave. The 24-7 laundry room makes it perfect for business and family travelers alike. It appears that housekeeping is an issue throughout the hotel, and I had issue with the condition of the carpeting, desk, and bathroom in my room. The restaurant in the hotel tries to be an upscale dining experience, but misses in freshness of food selection, creativity of dishes, delivery, as well as service. I had their breakfast buffet and the items on it were far too old to be presented to diners. I ate at around 9 AM and I suspect some of the items had been in the steam table since 5 - making them dry and nearly inedible. Additionally, they had an omelet and waffle station that patrons had to hunt for a chef if they were wishing to partake. I found it very disturbing that a senior waitress and the junior hostess were arguing over a seating situation in plain view and within earshot of me and several other guests. Not the kind of thing I hope to see for morning ambiance. Fortunately, the hotel is located across the street from PF Changes and Ruby's Diner, and within walking distance of many other nice places to eat who do seem to be aware that their job is service.”

“While I enjoyed this hotel, I think the daily charge of $14 for self parking is exorbitant. I also think they should let travelers know they are about to start a renovation, and they allow dogs in the hotel. Many people around us were shocked by the dogs and it even caused a scene once.”

- Self-parking garage is somewhat of a walk, but not bad.
“Good value and good location. Only real complaint (though really minor) was my wife and I were given two double beds. The hotel was not able to accommodate us with a single queen or king bed. But once we slept on those beds, all was forgotten.”

- I loved the bedding. Exquisite! I was very pleased.
- The computer in the business office did not work well, and there was only one computer.
“I got a great price and I know I will have a good night sleep because their bedding is absolutely plush. Their valet and bell man are so helpful and respectful as well. Their business office needs some work, but if you bring your own lap top they have set ups in the office to connect to the internet as well as the printer, so grab your coffee from the convenient star bucks in the lobby and go to work. I really fell so comfortable at the Marriott Warner Center.”

- The plush bedding and decor of the rooms, and that they had a starbucks in the lobby and a business center that was not too busy , hence computer access.
- Way too cold in the hallways. I do not know why they keep it so cold!
“I loved staying there. I did not want to get out of bed because of their plush bedding. I took a brochure for the bedding and plan on buying similar bedding for my home. I also called to see if they had monthly rates, for a future date. I am a pleased customer.”

- The room choice was on a noisy side of the hotel we were not giving a choice in this and I did not want to take time to change the room also there were.

“This is a very nice hotel in looks and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 3 star but it did not have free breakfast that most 1 star hotel would have. It also provided internet access for $10 per day which many 1 Star hotel give free. Although very nice, I didn't feel I got all that I paid for.”

- Non-smoking room was smokey, had to use spray, no other room available.
“Very precise in cleanliness and responsiveness. Food service was especially good. Only non-competitive aspect is that they still force guests to use wired internet access for $10 a day.”
