• I liked the beds they were as you might expect for this level of hotel.
• No pool and access from 287 isn't simple.

“If this hotel is designed totally for the business traveler it is nice. The rooms are a little small and there's no pool whatsoever. Other than that it's a nice clean hotel with nice beds and a large Samsung LCD TV in the room.”

• The rooms were spacious and clean.
• Staff not friendly at all- no access to public transportation.

“The staff were not friendly, we ended up getting a room that was close to the swimming pool and very noisy. During the second day of our stay, there was tapping sound from the top floor throughout the night. Hotel does not offer any shuttle services. They get you cabs but they charge you 5-7 dollars above other cab services.”

• The swimming pool was definitely a great addition especially with kids.
• Not being able to provide the room that I requested.

“At my initial booking and getting my confirmation, I called the hotel immediately and requested that I would need double beds to fit my needs. I was told that it would be arranged. Upon arriving at 6:30 and checking in, I was told that I had a room with a kings size bed and that they could give me a roll away bed. I told them that I specifically requested a room with double beds.”

• Staff was accommodating and was very friendly.
• Asked for a cot in the morning & we were told it would be delivered to our room. Came back in the evening & it wasn't in the room & had none left.

“Hotel was very nice and had all the amenities you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. They seemed to have their hands full with a number of weddings going on but still were able to handle it all.”

• The breakfast buffet was excellent; staff allowed late check-in and late check-out.
• Concierge was not on duty on Saturday.

“The hotel was pretty, with a mosaic marble floor in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I was pleased to see a terry cloth robe in the room closet.”

• Clean and comfortable - good location near restaurants and other conveniences.
• Experience with in-room internet access was difficult - slow speed.

“For those staying in the Parsippany-Hanover-Whippany area and seeking a more upscale experience, this is a solid choice - clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to several local restaurants. Despite my experience with slow in-room internet access, this is otherwise a good choice for both business travelers and families with fewer demands for family friendly amenities.”

• The location was excellent. Close to Rt 10 & I-287.
• The hotel staff was not overly friendly & I expected the room to be a bit cleaner.

“The Marriott Hanover was a conveniently located, full service hotel. Amenities were good, although I didn't like that you had to pay for Internet service in the room. All facilities were very nice.”

• Be careful of the room location - Rooms next to elevator were very Noisy.

• It is very comfortable, good location with easy access to expressways.
• You must pay for Internet services, no continental breakfast, pool was closed most of the time during our stay.

“For the price, it should include continental breakfast or AT LEAST free Internet services! It is very comfortable and the room is nicely furnished. It is a very convenient location. The pools were closed during most of our stay though no one could ever exactly tell us why. I would not stay there at the price they typically charge. ”

• Internet access is archaic.

“Clean hotel, super staff. Older hotel that was nicely upgraded. Pool was excellent. Room is a bit small, but clean and well serviced. Internet access is by cat5 in the room, for charge ($10/day), which is pretty silly given this is a business class hotel. Wireless in lobby for charge. Courtesy Internet station in Business Center is fine, and free, but there is only one station. Summary: Great staff, very clean, good hotel, Internet needs some thought and you will pay extra for any meaningful business class service. Would stay again.”

• The hotel had great amenities--a gym and good rooms.
• No Internet access was included. It was $9.95 and required s/w installation. Free Wi-Fi should be standard in 2006.

“The hotel was clean, easy to reach from Madison, had a great layout and big, spacious rooms. One drawback is if you need to go on Route 10 East in the morning. There is nothing but traffic.”

• The restaurants were great.
• It was still under renovations.

“While the rooms are still undergoing renovations, ours was only missing the bed skirts As always, the beds at Marriott's are the best ever. The staff was great and allowed us to check-in early. The restaurants in the hotel are fantastic and room service was quicker than usual. I would definitely stay there again if I ever have to venture to that area of NJ again.”

• Very friendly accommodating staff, stunning large suite with all amenities. Of the best hotel stays we ever experienced. Highly recommended.
• Nothing negative. The best. Only good things to say.

“I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed in many top of the line hotel chains. The Marriott Hanover was exceptional. We came for my husbands birthday. It was way beyond our expectations. The Staff is Very friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautiful, a stunning large suite, with every last amenity. This truly was of the best hotel stays we ever encountered. Highly recommended.”

• The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable
• The location of my room was very noisy

“This is a very nice hotel; Good location, good amenities; However,not very business travel friendly as internet access is $10.95 per 12 hour period. The food choices did not fit my style, however the number of resturants in the lobby made for convenience. If I didn't have to stay for business I would probably stay again.”

• Nice rooms with connecting doors between our 2 rooms
• Other guests were noisy and woke us up at 3:30am which ruined part of the stay

“Excellent location with easy access and visibility. Very friendly staff and nice restaurants and amenities, including business center room with Internet access and printing capabilities.

The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. Very enjoyable stay after a long drive.
