• Rooms were clean and comfortable.
• Pool was closed for renovations and was not disclosed at any time during reservation, check in, etc.

“Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lacks a mini fridge or microwave that most hotels have these days. Pool was under renovations during our stay. Disappointing since we selected this hotel FOR the pool. Restaurant staff was wonderful during breakfast. We were a rather large and unruley group and they exceeded our expectations in the way of service. We felt as though we were at a friend's house having breakfast.”

• Great location and a known leader in the industry.
• The hotel may be a 3-star establishment, but my room was in a 2-star section, near elevators, shower handle fell off (rusted screw), and noisy heat.

“One recommendation: One part of the hotel is newer and should be rated 3 stars; but there is an older section that is not 3 stars.”

• The room had a good working air conditioner.
• The indoor pool was heated when it was very hot outside. Even my kids weren't interested in staying in for long.

“This was a comfortable hotel with a small but comfortable room. The indoor pool would be great in the winter but was uncomfortably hot for a summer swim. It was close to the Lowell Music Festival that we attended and had several inexpensive restaurants close by.”

• Brand name, near my destination, near freeway ramp.
• Customer must walk or drive 500 yards from check in desk to room.

“This is a 'lower end' Radisson which is about equal to a Holiday Inn. My guess is this property will lose their Radisson franchise within a year or two. Look for it to become a quality inn or other lesser brand.”

• The staff were kind and the hotel was very attractive.

• Convenient, good fitness center.
• Pool was disgusting and water was green.

“Radisson in Chelmsford is convenient and comfortable. Dining room appeals to a variety of tastes but is not very interesting. Breakfast was fine, though mistakes were made when changes to menu were requested ("no potatoes"). Bed was fairly comfortable; two styles of pillows helped. Staff was friendly; front desk clerk was overworked, but remained cheerful. Easy highway access, free parking.”

• Great location.
• Had to walk through the middle of a wedding reception to get to our room.

“Overall the hotel looks nice, but the walls between rooms are not soundproof. The room we got had a slow flushing toilet that would look like it was about to overflow. And for starters my wife, 2 children and I had to walk through the center of a wedding reception with our luggage to get to our room. Maybe we just weren't lucky with this one.”

• Bed was very comfortable and attractive.
• Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is horribly overpriced buffet only.

“The front desk staff was all extremely polite and helpful. However, even though I informed those weeks prior to the stay that I was traveling with a service dog, they did not offer a handicapped room or a room conveniently near an exit door. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful with clean, well lit corridors and attractive rooms. The only on site restaurant available for breakfast offered only a buffet, no menu choices and the buffet was a set price which we considered way out of line ($15.00 each) since we only wanted coffee and toast.”

• The hotel's staff was very friendly. It did have a pool although the pumps werent working and the water was cloudy.
• My room was a little unclean, did not have the sleep number bed, somewhat bear minimum rooms for a Radisson.

“I stayed 08/2007 and overall my stay was pretty good. The staff is very friendly, the lounge was nice, and it did have a pool--although the pumps were not working and the water was cloudy. My room was large, however a little unclean. The beds did not have the sleep number beds which it says it should have. Would recommend it during low peak.”

“This hotel was very convenient to get to off the highway. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The room was very nice, and the breakfast buffet the following morning looked great, even though I did not stay and eat. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Check out was at noon, but at 11:20 am housekeeping banged on door and asked if we were planning on leaving that day despite do not disturb sign.

• Select Comfort Bed.
• Adults and children running the halls and being extremely loud two nights in a row well past midnight. Nothing changed after I called the front desk.

• I loved the location to US 495. I was able to get to and from the shopping areas easily.
• Last month stayed here& we had sleep number beds. Not in all rooms so we didn't this time. Very disappointing.

“This hotel was clean, had sleep number beds and the pool area was also clean. The big down-fall is to get to the pool area you have to walk through the reception area where on the night we were staying a wedding reception was being held. We literally had to walk thru somebody's wedding reception/bar area in our bathing suits and shorts to get to the pool this were very uncomfortable for us.”

• The staff was very nice, and helpful.
• The pool area did not seem to have enough chairs, and could use some reading material. And clean up around in the corners as to I had seen cobwebs.

• The sleep number beds were nothing special.

“My main complaint at this hotel was that the walls were too thin. I stayed for two nights. I couldn't sleep until after 4:30 the second night because guests in several other rooms (including across the hall) had televisions on and kept walking in their rooms (probably to the bathroom). There was an opera singer on the other side of me (yes, he was singing, not the hotel's fault) but once he must have leaned against the wall and I saw it physically BOW OUT toward me! On the positive side, the rooms have been recently updated, and the furniture and linens were fine, everything was clean, and staff was helpful and responsive. I do not consider myself to be demanding or picky, but the wall issue was enough to warrant notice.”

• Cleaning staff stood outside our door 5mins after check out waiting for us to leave.

• It was close to the highway.
• The hallway going through an area that has cooking going on.

“The hotel is very nice, but is currently undergoing renovations on their lobby. We had to walk down to a different area for check in. Then, our room was on the other side of the restaurant that is attached to the hotel, so we had to walk through this hallway which had swinging doors with cooks coming through to get to the other area as well.”

• I t was quiet and the internet worked!
• Maintenance called regarding repairs the previous guest submitted. That should be taken care of before the next guest checks in.

“Internet, a clean bathroom and bed but definitely not 3 stars on the side of the hotel I stayed on. Maybe the part that is renovated is 3 stars but the other side is definitely holiday inn. The hotel is under construction so the lobby is a drawing room. They also never picked up my breakfast room service request off the door so that never showed up. I'm glad I didn't pay full price.”

• Request for room type not honored.

“We were given a smoking room with two double beds but requested a non-smoking room with a king bed. Our clothes smelled of cigarette smoke for days and had to be laundered. We also had trouble sleeping. The air-conditioner was very noisy. Portions of the hotel apparently had been renovated, but ours had not. The room seemed run down and in need of work. It didn't seem worthy of a Radisson or 3 stars.”
