• Comfortable beds, nice color scheme.
• Fire alarms went off in the morning and hotel did not seem to have a good evacuation plan.

“Very nice hotel with attractive rooms. Rooms and lobby were clean. The staff was very nice about changing my room to a room away from the elevator.”

“We had never stayed at an Indigo Hotel before. It was beyond my expectations. We slept well and enjoyed the comforts. Wished we had been staying for more than one short night.”

• I liked the Aveda bath products. They should have included a candle to overcome the stench in the room.
• The rooms smelled horrible. I couldn't open a window. There was no bath tub and the water pressure in the shower was weak.

“This looks like an old motel that was remodeled to look like a chic, boutique hotel. It was cheaply done over. I will not be staying at an Indigo Hotel again.”

• The decor was very unique.

“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The decor was very unique and our entire family really liked it. You could tell that the interior designers spent a lot of time with the little touches here and there. Highly recommend this hotel.”

• New, clean, 25 minutes drive from Niagara Falls.
• Avoid room close to the swimming pool, AC noise kills your dream.

“Short distance to Niagara Falls and restaurants. Location and food are cheaper and definitely better than Niagara Falls area. It's a new hotel.”

• Almost everything. The little extra touches such as fresh cookies in the evening were wonderful!
• Only restaurant on site, had a Starbucks, also had some dinner items. Not kid friendly & way too expensive.

“It is modern & relaxing. Bright sunny lobby with over sized chairs, free internet & cocktail lounge. The rooms were beautiful with bright walls, comfortable beds, flat screen TV and hard wood floors. The pool & hot tub were both clean & inviting. The hotel staff was friendly & answered every question that we may have had. Overall experience was wonderful.”

• I love the furniture, the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and the decor was appealing.
• The hard wood floors in the rooms made for more outside noise in our room. I think it could be fixed easily with a tight door seal.

“I would recommend this hotel. It was comfortable and conveniently located. It has a unique atmosphere i.e. live bamboo plant, huge murals of Niagara Falls, excellent exercise facilities and healthy delicious food choices for all meals.”

• Very new and modern facility and decor.
• Did not have a full-service restaurant, any bathtub, and bad controls on ventilation.

“This was a very new and modern hotel with a clean, fresh, roomy and well-decorated room. Staff was extremely helpful and gracious. Food at the cafe was good quality. Conveniently located.”

• The staff was slow and inconsiderate.

“Check in/out was inexcusably slow. The restaurant was a joke. I waited 30 minutes for a coffee and muffin every morning. The maid walked in on my husband 4 times within 2 hours while he was sleeping. The aesthetics of the hotel were wonderful, however the service and staff was awful.”

• The faulty smoke alarm which went off 3 times at midnight.

“Save the unfortunate situation with the smoke alarm, it was a very pleasurable experience. The design of the building and the furnishings and the decor was refreshingly different.”

• Pleasant interior, clean and well maintained room.
• No microwave in the room, no glass doors for bathtub, no free continental break fast.

“Excellent for families. Good interior, good for the money, nice location and well maintained parking lot, swimming pool and Gym. I would recommend this hotel for the families with kids.”

• Visually appealing. Very good beds. Good Jacuzzi.
• Trying to be Zen like.

“I stayed one night. The hotel is trying to create a Zen type of atmosphere which didn't appeal to me, but the colors were nice, the beds very comfortable and the lobby was appealing. The working space and internet in the room was good with no problems with the free wireless. The pool area and exercise room were nice also and the Jacuzzi worked fine. Only drawback was that the pool closed at 10pm.”

• Our room was right beside the elevator, and the ice machine, so we could hear it going all night. TV did not work.

• I reserved 2 rooms for me and family: The host searched for 2 rooms near each other without my prompting.
• Shower pressure was low.

“This Indigo Chain is my new favorite for a family hotel. Holiday Inn must be trying to stave off competition from Hampton Inn (My old favorite). I like the upgraded modern feel of the rooms, lobby and surroundings. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and neat. If I had to knock the hotel for one thing, the shower pressure could have been better.”

“I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The decor was beautiful. From the moment you enter the door--you are met with a calming, mellow atmosphere. It quiets your spirit and you feel at peace. The pool, hot tub and exercise room where all wonderful. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping superb. Thanks for the great experience! Rated 10 out of 10 for me!”

• Different, clean, bright, as a Euro feel to it. Enjoyed my stay.
• The lobby was an open concept bar loud when 1st walk in.

“I didn't like the bar and front desk having the open concept thing going on. I under stand that the front desk can keep a better eye on things, but it made it hard to talk to the front desk. I would put a glass wall up to cut down the noise. The pool/spa area is larger than most places that I have stayed. I would stay here again. A cool place to stay. I am told that each place may be not be like this one. Not a cookie cutter type of hotel.”

• The rooms were bright, cheery and clean.
• We ordered room service and I stated I wanted our food hot but it was cold but tasty.

“The hotel was very good value for money. They were very short of front office staff and the phones rang constantly while I was waiting to check in. The person who checked us in was pleasant but had a rather rough edge not reflecting the overall quality of the hotel.”

“My son and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms are unique with the bright colors, big beds, and wonderful bedding. The hardwood floors gave are a nice touch, we felt like we were home rather than in a hotel.”

• Sneakers left outside door taken by staff put in lost and found.

“We had a great stay however the day we were checking out one of my son's friends left my son's brand new sneakers outside our door with in 1/2 hour the hotel staff instead of knocking on the door took the sneakers and put them in a lost and found bin. It makes me think they deliberately did this in hopes we'd chalk it up to them being stolen. It was very fishy! Otherwise a great place!”

• Walls need better soundproofing and it was not easy to regulate room temperature.

“Attractively appointed, clean and fresh hotel. Centrally located on the I90 between Walden Galleria Mall and Outlet Mall. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely a hotel I will use again and recommend to others.”

• The bed. It was very comfortable. The pillows and comforter were down and the colors were very pleasing to the eye.
• I can't think of anything. It was awesome!

“I was very impressed by this hotel. When you walked in, the colors and decor were very vivid and pleasing. It made you feel good. The bar in the lobby was very nice as well. They also had 2 oversized beach chairs with colorful cushions and ottoman's in the lounge area. When you walked into your room, the outside wall had wallpaper that almost made it look like you were outside. The bed was high and very, very comfortable. It a bright red down comforter and down pillows. The TV was nice as well. It was a good size flat screen. Each time you turned it on; there was a new haiku for you to read. Overall, it was wonderful. Looking forward to staying there again!”
