• We thought the price we paid was in line with the accommodations.
• The size of the room for the continental breakfast was too small for the number of travelers each morning. A waiting line was common.

“For the amount of time we spent in the hotel, this facility met our needs. The room was fairly clean. The bathroom tiles/vanity top was worn. The bed linens/bath towels were clean. We did not take advantage of the continental breakfast because the room was consistently crowded each morning of our stay.”

• Our flight was delayed several hours but they did hold the room for us as promised.

“The room was clean but the lights next to the bed didn't work. It was impossible to turn down the heat in the room which made sleep difficult. I never did understand why the price I was charged was $5 over the price quoted.”

• Amy at the front desk was very helpful; breakfast coordinator was AWESOME.
• Some of the rooms need refurbishing, no Jacuzzi.

“Good location right off I-89 with outdoor pool and elevator. I had called ahead and requested a king no-smoking room and was given one. Upon arrival was presented with 2 queen smoking (very run down) room. Even though the hotel was pretty full (marathon weekend) Amy at the front desk resettled us in a king non-smoking room overlooking the pool (great service, Amy). Breakfast included had waffles, hot/cold cereals, fruit, bagels, Danish - and excellent job by coordinator - she really hustled keeping everything stocked, clean and fresh. ”

• No interior stairs at the front. I witnessed a long term (male) guest vandalizing their lobby computer - displaying offensive material on our President.

“This hotel is conveniently located with an enthusiastic staff. This hotel is great for a quick or long term stay. This hotel is not equipped for business travelers who may have a variety of unexpected needs to complete their work or meet deadlines. This hotel is equipped to meet the needs of parents. This hotel is willing to respond to special requests that a guest may have. They will take extra steps, if necessary, to meet customer satisfaction.”

• Bright, extremely clean, 4 thick pillows per bed.

“This was such a nice hotel. The staff was very nice. General manager was very friendly and personable. The hallways and rooms were brightly lit. The rooms were very clean. The cleanest hotel that I have been in. Also, they had 4 thick pillow per bed!! In other hotels I have seen only 2 flat pillows. I got a great deal for a great hotel room!!”

• Snow removal from front of hotel rooms at parking curb was poor. Could be cause for safety concern.

“This is the best Fairfield Inn that I've ever been in. As a traveler, the staff was extremely friendly, and very service oriented. The room keepers take pride in making all rooms look great. As I told manager on duty, it would be nice to serve a beer or drink after retiring to the room, but I'm sure a license would be required. I'll always come back to this hotel.”

• The location was nice. It was right off the highway and easy to get to Burlington and Shelburne.
• The room was a little small.

“This hotel was not as nice as I expected. The room was a little small (but it had a bed and a TV, so it worked). The one part that I was a little upset about is when I went down to the front desk around 9 p.m. to get change for my $10.00 so I could buy me and my husband drinks from the vending machine. The man at the desk did not have change for a $10. He was nice enough to write me a slip to get a free drink (writing it off as me losing my money in the machine), but I really wanted two drinks (one for me and one for my husband). My husband ended up going to a gas station located in the same lot as the hotel to buy us drinks.”

“This is a great hotel and is in keeping with the standards you expect from Fairfield Inns. Rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable. Good TV selection, wireless internet, great breakfast including fresh waffles, in-room coffee. I've stayed here before and the coffee was good, however, this stay it was rather watery. All in all, a very good experience - would recommend to anyone.”

“I like the Fairfield Inn and stay there quite often. I just try not to bring my dog. Motel 6 which is next door doesn't have the same policy. No extra charge, however Fairfield Inns rooms are far superior.”

“For a one-night stay, this hotel will suffice. While the rooms are clean, they are bare-bones, and there is no closet. There is a continental breakfast which features make your own waffles, a definite plus. On the downside, the beds are very uncomfortable, and the pillows are pretty flat and useless. Marriott should consider investing in some new bedding in their budget hotels.”

• We especially liked its proximity to a Motel 6 advertising in BIG letters a rate slightly higher than the one we were paying.
• There was not one negative thing.

“Just over the hill outside of Burlington, this hotel was away from the hubbub and traffic of Burlington proper, in quieter Colchester. The newness added to our bargain being a thrill, and the staff was pleasant and courteous. All in all, we wished we hyad a few more days to linger. ”

“The staff was accommodating, they let me check in early. The rooms are generally very clean, I tend to sometimes find hair on the shower walls, however and this time 2 pillowcases were stained with some time of brown smear. The continental breakfast is good. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this hotel. It is unbeatable.”

• The breakfast was a nice touch, and I enjoyed being able to check in and out fast.
• The hotel does not have an indoor heated pool and the mattresses were way too firm.

The hotel is minutes away from Shelburne Farms, Cabot Creamery, and Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Ben & Jerry's, and many other tourist attractions.”
