• Very comfy beds! Helpful staff and a
  good location.
• Had to pay for wireless that did not work well-very poor feature.

“Very nice stay. Clean and comfortable, enjoyed the pool and restaurant. Helpful staff. We will use this hotel whenever we visit our daughter's college in Conn. But please, make a free WIFI network!”

• Location, not in crowded urban area, tree outside my window, but 30 seconds to RT91.
• Tile and wallpaper in bathroom poor quality repairs.

• The staff member who checked us in went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service.

“We stayed at this hotel one night during a long driving trip. It was a great location. Right off the highway, but in a very safe and residential type area. The local town was close by and had excellent restaurants to choose from. The accommodations were very nice, and the staff was extremely helpful. I would certainly stay here again.”

• Cleanliness.

“I was given a very small room which made me feel claustrophobic, and it was at the farthest end of the building with lots of walking. They told me all rooms were the same and could not change it. I have stayed there before and know the rooms are bigger. The hotel had many open rooms because I heard a staff member say their census was low and they did not have many reservations.”

• The beds were comfortable with a selection of pillows.
• the bathroom was quite small with one sink.

“This is a clean, friendly and comfortable property conveniently located to people we were visiting ion the area. The price was about half what I would normally expect to pay for a comparable accommodation.”

• Location.
• 3X problem with card-keys PITA taking the elevator 3X to get it resolved.

“A nice typical Marriott. Location is very convenient to I-91. Rooms were of a fair size and expected comfort level. Room key-cards seemed not to program properly so some minor inconveniences. Overall a positive experience.”

• One person at the front desk was VERY helpful. The
  head chef went out of his way for my kid with allergies.
• Just getting back to the room to take a bubble bath and the fire alram went off.

“This hotel was great, friendly, and nice. The restaurant food was really good. The pool area has the best non-slip deck around it. They could use some more help on the front desk at times. I would go back many times!”

• Hotel staff was helpful and didn't charge me for the mini fridge I requested.
• Pool closes early.

“I have stayed here several times before and have always loved the rooms. The beds are fantastic and the down comforter is to die for! Very comfy and well appointed rooms. The staff quickly address any issues with a smile.”

• Very nice grounds, with comfortable interior courtyard in which to relax.
• Hotel room is small.

“Sparkling clean hotel, with gorgeous linens and comfortable beds. Convenient business center, very bright pool and exercise area. Rooms are a bit small as it is an older refurbished hotel.”

• Most facilities clean and in good condition.
• In spite of a higher price, everything costs extra.

“Nice room, though not nicer than Sheraton, Holiday Inn, or other less expensive competitors. Want bottled water? $4.50 Internet? $9.95 a day In-room movie? $13.95 Restaurant and lounge decorated like a hospital cafeteria. Room thermostats don't work right (tried two different rooms.)”

• The beds were fantastic! Like sleeping on a cloud.
• Room was over the banquet area door, several NOISY smokers outside.

“Highly recommend this hotel. Easy access off the Interstate. Wonderful, friendly staff. The beds must have had a feather top mattress, for you truly were enveloped into the bed. No achy bones in the morning. Even though there was noise from the smokers outside the banquet room doors, I would still recommend this hotel.”

• I usually travel Marriott for their great reputation and this was convenient to my daughter's college, University of Hartford and downtown where she performed.
• Not there long enough to tell but the pillows were great.

“The proximity to downtown Hartford and the highway is a plus. I really wanted downtown but it went over my budget. I wished I could have stayed another night to utilize the pool and restaurant. Perhaps next time I visit my daughter.”

• The beds were amazing.
• There was not much around the location.

“The hotel was quiet and it was friendly. There was not much around the hotel, but this lent to the quietness of the hotel. The hotel also had the most comfortable beds that we had ever slept on in a hotel. Highly recommend. Internet connection was not free though, which is a bad point.”

“Traveling with my spouse and young child, we thought the hotel was amazing. It was very clean, the room was beautiful and comfortable, the room service was delicious and right on time and the staff was extremely friendly, including doting on my toddler when she felt and scraped her knee and even found her a "special" Band-Aid. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would love to stay there again!”

• Asked for 1 hour late checkout and they wouldn't give. We were in a tournament.

“Really nice hotel convenient to Hartford. Front desk didn't have maps of Hartford available with Downtown streets. Needed clear directions getting to place at Trinity College and back.”

• Some of the items in the room were damaged upon arrival.

“This hotel is definitely a great choice for someone traveling through on business or for leisure. It is located 1/2 mile away from the highway, and the staff was very friendly. The only problems I had were that the door in our room had a portion of the bottom wood missing, there were quarter size spots of rust in the tub, and the large lamp in the room did not work. I did happen to order room-service, where I got a Caesar salad and a fillet mignon; both were great and cooked to my liking. I would definitely visit here again.”

• The pool was fantastic for the kids; the beds were the best I've ever slept in. Late check out is nice.

“We are locals who got a room for one night in order for the kids to have access to the pool but ended up spending the night because the room, especially the beds, were so inviting! A fantastic experience with very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone.”

• Prompt service & very knowledgeable staff.
• The in room internet costs money when most hotels don't charge anything.

“I was treated with the best service anyone could ask for. The staff is the same people day in and day out, so they know you by name at every point after you check-in. Also, the beds are the most comfortable ones I have ever had in any hotel (King size beds in this hotel are standard and aren't extra). The rooms are kept clean, if I needed extra towels, shampoo, etc; they had it up to my door in less than 5 minutes! The only downside is that if you are a business traveler, you have to go down to the lobby to get wireless internet, unless you want to pay $10/day for corded internet in your room. I have stayed at national motels/hotels before where even wireless internet is now standard and free everywhere in the building; this was not the case in this hotel.”

• The beds were wonderful and the room was immaculate.
• No covered parking.

“My sister, elderly mother, aunt and I had a fabulous stay. My mother and aunt especially loved the beds and the room accommodations. We live in Florida and we loved that it snowed while we were there. We don't get much snow in Florida. Our stay was a joy and we will definitely stay here again.”

• Quick check-in and check-out...no problems at all.
• The beds were too small for two adults and one child to sleep comfortably in a double occupancy room.

“The hotel had a friendly and efficient staff. The room, though small, was comfortable and provided the usual things you'd expect (hair dryer, ironing board w/ iron, coffee maker, etc.). My only complaint would have to be that the beds in the double occupancy rooms were too small for two adults to share comfortably (they were full size or double?). In any case, my husband's feet hung off of the bottom and I had to share a bed with my daughter.”

• Charging for internet access. Have been in 1 star hotel that did not charge.
