• Close location to Universal Studios.
• Room was a little small for a Sheraton class hotel.

• Nice modern feel to the room. Modern color décor.
• Needed a plunger on the last day and the maid had no idea what we were saying.

“This was a very nice hotel. I would love to stay there again. The elevators were not all working due to remodeling so it did take a little while to go up or down. I loved the color decor and the throw pillow it added a touch of home.”

• The decor and renovation were very nice. Not your typical loud carpet and hotel furnishings., clean lines.
• The room was freezing when we checked in. We cranked the heat and got under the covers until it normalized.

• The ceiling to carpet window that expanded the lenght of the room. The view of the city was endless. I felt like a rockstar.
• The price for a shot of Patron tequila. Alas I am not a rockstar. My roomy was unable to get the thermostat to work correctly

“Very nice room clean and comfy. We were in a nonsmoking floor and room smelled like smoke and people in next room smoked in their room. Noisy in next room at 300 am.”

• Close to universal studio with transport there and back.
• I had to pay for my parking to stay at the hotel.

“Management was very nice they were only able to solve half the problem causing me to have to pay twice for one room. I was very unhappy I had to pay to park at the hotel. The lack of refer or micro in the room was disappointing, as was the lack of a continental breakfast. The room itself was nice, clean and had a wonderful view. The lobby and restaurant were under renovations and so closed off. Next time I would stay at the Hilton next door.”

• The Front Desk Manager was wonderful.
• Front desk, old rooms, old facilities.

“We had a terrible experience. Rooms are not ready when you arrive, facilities are old, front desk has a very 'take it or leave it' attitude, many things don't work in the rooms, to include toilets and sliding doors. `I'd head up the hill to the Hilton.”

• For its location and compared to the other hotels in its category it exceeded expectations. It felt safe and clean.
• The beds could have been more comfortable.

“The shower head was great, the lobby is gorgeous, the parking is super close, the room was spacious, plenty of pillows and towels, and overall it was really nice. (To be honest, it was not your typical Sheraton, usually Sheraton rooms are more upscale.) But it wasn't bad. For its location it was wonderful and perfect. I know hotels in the Hollywood/ Burbank/ L.A. Area are a lot older and are not nice in general. So it was great and definitely worth the extra money. I would stay there again.”

“Great value for service is a-1, room was great, location was good too. Parking is a rip off and room service charges $4 plus 15% gratuity in addition to their high prices, only negatives I can think of. Loved staying at this place.”

“Overall it was a good experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. The only negative was that housekeeping missed making up my room one day, but when I phoned the front desk that evening, someone came immediately and rectified the situation. I would recommend the hotel to others.”

• The concierge was very helpful. The location was perfect for me.

• There was a playboy convergences occurring.

“They were extra busy with a very unique clientele with the playboy conference so the staff was overloaded and the people were much "underdressed":). Our timing wasn't very good. Otherwise it was clean and nice and it was a short shuttle ride or a nice walk to universal studios.”

• Parking is overpriced.

“Decent sized rooms in a nicely appointed hotel. Staff is well trained, friendly and attentive. Hotel is very close to Universal City and there's a free shuttle to City walk. My only beef is I think $16 a day for parking for a hotel guest is grossly overpriced in that area (many hotels have free parking.)”

“After I confirmed my reservation, I called the hotel on the very same day to request for a non-smoking room since I have allergy. The man confirmed to me I got the room I'm asking for. When I arrived at the hotel, to my surprise, the lady told me that I'm staying in a smoking floor! Bad, very bad!!!”

• The beds we're great.
• I had problems with my door key, they came to fix it 3 times but it was an inconvenience.

• The pool was great!!!
• No snack vending machines for the kids

“It was okay, they were having a very big convention so a lot of people were there. No vending machines only all the snacks and drinks in the fridge, When I went to take the waters and juices out of the fridge it charged me automatically for the stuff. Before I checked out I had to resolve this with MGT. That was kind of a hassle.”

• It's proximity to the attraction, i.e. Universal Studios.
• We were given a room with connecting door. The guests next door had a party until 4 am. We weren't able to sleep because of noise & smoke.

“It would have been a perfect stay except for that first night when the guests in the adjoining room partied all morning. I had oxygen in my room because of my health & the smoke from the other room got into ours. I hope they be more strict in their rules about using the rooms for partying.”

• Extremely convenient to Universal City and its distractions, the hotel was also set up nicely for professional meetings.
• A car alarm in an adjacent hotel's garage blared for three, but dealt with it.

“Very convenient to NBC Universal and Universal City, the hotel has a entrance courtyard that looks ready-made for commercials for high-end automobiles. The interior of the hotel largely delivers on those promises. My room on the fifth floor showed some signs of wear and tear -- the doors enclosing the mini-bar were misaligned, the bathroom had a few dings -- but was generally in very good shape. I had little opportunity to interact with staff, but they were in general professional and helpful: When I called about an annoying car alarm, the front desk traced the problem quickly and alerted the staff at the Hilton to the issue. (I wish I hadn't assumed that someone else had reported the problem and called hours earlier.) I was a little surprised to have to pay for Internet service, having enjoyed free Internet at national chains elsewhere, but the website does indeed just say that there is high-speed access, not free access. All in all a good stay at a reasonable price.”
